Of course he should. His fights were epic. And resume wise, he's actually above quite a few of those guys already introduced.

Biggest Corrales fan on the board here. Guys like Chico and Gatti do not belong in the Hall of Fame. You have to draw the line somewhere and just being exciting doesn't cut it. They were very good but not all time great fighters.

For me he is the ultimate boxing hero that was robbed by Gary Shaw and some members of his family.

Out of all the opponents that have fought Mayweather the one that had the best chance to beat him and would have beat him if the fight contined was Chico. I agree that Mayweather won most if not all of the first 10 rounds but Chico was waiting for Floyd to punch himself out and then when Floyd was on the ropes tired he would get the knockout.

Chicos step dad stopped the fight very prematurely and the referee probably just wanted to go home quicker and so found the perfect excuse to end the fight. There was a conspiracy in Chicos step-dad, Bob Arum and Gary Shaw to have Chico loose that fight by stopping it before Chico caught up to Mayweather for the knockout.

For those of you who dont know Chicos style he was a slugger, So what annoys me no end is how they stopped the Mayweather-Corrales fight in the 10th round but in Castilo-Corrales we all seen what Chico was going to do to Mayweather if the fight continued. He turned the fight around in probably the most memorable round in recent boxing.

That was Corrales, Thats what would have happened to Mayweather if the fight continued and he was atleast allowed to end the 10th round

Instead Chico got robbed against Mayweather.

Anyway thats all in the past, Chico is dead im sure Shaw, Bob Arum and all the haters are happy, But he should be in the boxing hall of fame!

How could he win fight of the century. When the century is only 10 years old?

You have a right to your opinions, But Chico was going to knock Mayweather out in the championship rounds, Just like he KO Castillo. Its just that there was a conspiracy so that Chico lost the fight, Bob Arum, Gary Shaw and Chicos step-dad were involved in match fixing.

(just to name a few) have better careers than Corrales. Should we let all of those guys in as well? Sorry to sound like a d1ck but the boxing HOF needs to have the same prestige as other sports. While you can't take guys that are already there out (due to them not deserving to be their in the first place).

I think boxing should take steps from here on out to make it to where only the best of the best get in, and not a guy who only has 3 nice wins.
Yes it seems like it is too easy to get in the HOF. I mean Sven Ottke received a vote last year. How doesn't that happen?

One of the most entertaining fighters ever. He was a 3-weight world champion who had great fights, most notably against JLC, Casamayor and Acelino Freitas who were some of the greatest Lightweights of their generation in their respective primes.

So yes, he deserves to be in the HoF, though he is not an ATG.
I think he is a 2 weight world class
