absolutely not. I mean lets be real for a second and not exalt him higher because of his death. even though guys are in their that shouldn't be, doesn't mean we open the flood gates and let everyone in.

I had this same argument with posters on here who say guys like Gatti and Castillo should get in. Anyone of these guys get in then the hall of fame is officially a joke....bottom line.

I will vote. He is definitely not a first ballot HOF'er. However, he is a two division champ, was the lineal LW champ and you add his legendary fight with JLC, plus holds win over Casamayor and Freitas that I could see him getting in at some point. But, personally I would vote no.

I like those wins for Chico over Casa and Popo (2 guys that I would have loved for Mayweather to face). Also, his first fight with JLC is probably my all time favorite fight. I wish he would have lived longer though (I miss the guy). If he gets in, it will be close.

(just to name a few) have better careers than Corrales. Should we let all of those guys in as well? Sorry to sound like a d1ck but the boxing HOF needs to have the same prestige as other sports. While you can't take guys that are already there out (due to them not deserving to be their in the first place).

I think boxing should take steps from here on out to make it to where only the best of the best get in, and not a guy who only has 3 nice wins.
