      1. The greatest boxer of all time is a toss up between Ali and Tyson

      2. They are always surprised at how small guys at welterweight actually are

      4. They don't really hate Mayweather as much as we think they do

      5. They scored the DLH/Mayweather fight for DLH

      9. They think Pacquiao's best win was Oscar De La Hoya and are clueless about what an accomplishment MAB was or who MAB is for that matter.

      Can anyone think of more?
Don't mean to hijack the thread lol. Those highlighted above IMO are opinions. Misconceptions are conclusions contrary to facts.

Casual fans - hang out on NSB more than they should hang out on boxing video highlights and actual fight feeds...

A person who doesn't **** about boxing is going to Pacquiao almost every time. Even if they know a little something about boxing, they pick Pac. Then you ask them, well break it down for me and tell me exactly why Pac would win. They say something like "because is hits hard and is fast" .. at that point I laugh and just say..."ok". No point in arguing with someone who thinks that is the reason anyone would win a fight.
What the **** you know you ****head????

I don't think its casual fans as much as it is ethnic fans.

I'm in Jersey. I talk to a lot of Polish fans when Adamek fights in newark. Many could give a **** about aany other fighter. Talk to them and they keep it real. They would pay to see Adamek if he fought in an outhouse and not pay a dime to see floyd pac. I respect that.

It seems a lot of pac fans seem to be manny fans primarily because they share the same nationality. They are extremely knwledgeable about all of pac's fights and react very strongly when they think their hero is getting disrespected (just like the adamek fans.)

have you ever wondered why people in fight venues would suddenly erupt in wild cheers if they see a knockdown in the ring or even when fighters engage in a toe to toe confrontation? are they casual fans to you?
