Look dude, stop playin yourself. My point is manny made the business decision to fight morales. It wasn't because he was scared.

Floyd fought 2 fights for about $35 mil. You would have him fight 2 fights for roughly half of that? Seriously?

Would you ronson take less money to fight cintron and clottey if you were floyd?

Mayweather is the guy that calls himself "The greatest boxer of all time" so he should fight the best guys out there and prove it. Sorry but fighting Marquez who was dragged up 2 weight divisions doesn't cut it for me. Mayweather couldn't carry Sugar Ray Robinsons jockstrap, never mind calling himself better than him.

Floyd Mayweather has been at welter for 5 years now. The top guys in that division in that time have been / are: Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Joshua Clottey, Kermit Cintron, Antonio Margarito and more recently Pacman. Now how many of those names does Floyd have on his resume? The answer is 1. I rest my case.

If you are saying you dont think floyd is the best ever fine. your choice. But you decided to over rate clottey, marg and cintron to support your point. Floyd got to ww in 2005. None of these fighters on this list were a top 5 ww in 2005 except Shane and cotto. And I'm pretty sure you saw Shane turn down floyd's challenge when larry merchant asked him on TV.

                Just spit the truth!

Until someone else beats his left overs... then they are revived and called 'legit' opponents.

That's what you call...."A Blast from the Past" article.....great POST.
I would like to comment on your 2nd post though....

"Mitchell, Gatti, Hatton, Mosley, De La Hoya, Judah, & Tzuyu were guys that all the boxing 'experts' were saying would cement the legacy of Mayweather...he beat 6 of the 7 guys WHO AT THE TIME were considered his toughest challenges.....now when he beats them they were nobodies and he has ducked the best???"

A "certain other fighter" has also been classified under that same way.....Barrera (twice), Morales (thrice), Marquez (twice), Diaz, Hatton, DLH, Cotto, Clottey. All were challeneges to this fighter, and when he beat them...they are nobodies and past prime and he ducked the best.
