    yeh this...
you can make a fighter who lost a fight look like he won it by picking his best successes for the highlight reel so highlights mean nothing, now dont get me wrong sugar ray was unbelievable.. so good in fact that he has 99% of boxing experts behind him as GOAT BUT you cant just look at a highlight reel and say wow he was unstoppable... you could do that with Zab Judah if you wanted haha

It's quite easy to tell the difference between highlights. There is a clear distinction of class. SRR surpases floyd completely in technical skills.

      Please think objectively.

Thats insane to say, a) the guys have completly differant styles, guys throw punches differantly, set up differant punches and combos, use differant footwork and head movement, there is no right or wrong way per say it is what is effective with your make up... Floyd is extremly effective, the guys punch stats speak for themselves, you have to remember boxing is not all about KO ability its about outscoring your opponant and Floyd does that just as good as any1 in the history of the sport and b) Floyd is pure class, love him or h8 him nobody can deny the guys ring smarts and reflex's. Im not saying he is better than Ray because its too hard to say, i wish people would stop comparing these guys to one another, its a completly differant game nowadays, the fighters train for differant goals due to it being 12 rounds and the equipment is changed dramatically you cant begin to imagine how much differance that can make... but nobody can honestly say Floyd isnt a class act in the ring, its just ****** to say so.

fair enough. I understand what you are saying. But you can't make ANYONE look good in a highlight video. You will notice certain differences.

However when people say he punches like shane mosley, I just do a facepalm. It's a ludicrous statement.

              green K sent.

though in that vid sugar ray is devastating I have to question the level of comp in the vid. Not sure if he fought a fighter of today if he would be as effective with that style.

I have never seen a fighter today use a throwback style.

I wan't to see more sandy saddlers and charley burley's. The closest I've seen is bernard hopkins, but even he has implemented some modern elements.

SRL has a better chance of winning a fight against SRR than Floyd...some fools on here saying it would be a mismatch in Floyds favor, more slick than any fighter Ray ever fought. In reality, its a mismatch in Rays favor...a fearless, technical, aggressive, volume fighter. More like Floyds never fought a fighter with the athleticism of Ray. I think Floyd "survives" 6-7 rounds, he is incredibly slick in his own right...but Sugar was of another class. Which is odd to say when you talk about Floyd, but its the truth.

Do you think ray robinson could maul his arms with briuses and break them?

                      Are those X-ray photos realistic?
