Cotto would beat the **** out plasterboy and hopefully but not likely it would make this ****** take plasterito's **** out of his throat.

Margarito's hand wraps didn't make his chin any better. he was taking cotto's best shots. that just deflated cotto's confidence.

it's intriguing because cotto beat shane, shane beat margs, but margs beat cotto.

i think it would be alot closer this time. especially with steward in cotto's corner.

Many are forgetting cotto's mental stage at this point of his career.I believe he's pushing and giving it all.He knows he has a couple of fights left and a win over margarito could cement his mind as he was,and always was,the better man in the ring.

For crying out loud he took over 11 rounds of stuffed crack gloves (my opinion, whine all you want). He's rugged and has pure heart. The physical damage was unreal to the naked eye. It's not like he got knocked out cold.IT WAS THE ACCUMILATION OF PUNCHES.

My final say on this fight: Cotto by UD utilizing his boxing abilities like rounds 1-6 in the first fight.Yet alot sharper now.Dont get me wrong, the fight will be tight on score cards but i could see cotto landing clean counters and jabs at critical times to halt a clear win.

Will it be easy? No.But i dont wanna hear anybody about a fight number 3 if cotto clearly wins. This settles for all the chips.

If by some divine miracle Cotto can manage a win (which he clearly won't), it would be 1-1.

          The trilogy would be academic.

well if margo loses which is possible anything is possible, more people would lean towards the wraps in the last fight

question is where is this fight going to happen cause margo might not be ever allow to fight on u.s soil

C'mon man you really think cotto would give him another chance again? The dude is practically BEGGING for the fight.Ok ok so he wants to "erase" doubts about his rep,but if cotto wins by wide margin (which he clearly can) there's no need.In the minds of many fans (not you) could say the first fight is in the whirlpool guddard.I dont care how many ways you flip/scrip/**** things a win over margarito II is more then enough to knock conciousness into what happened in the 1st fight.Thats my role in the fight.Cotto could care less for a trilogy if he beats him this time.

If cotto beats him in a rematch and doesnt go for a trilogy 10 years from now the boxing world will recognize cotto as beating him.You cant erase career mistakes.

Margarito is a bad matchup for Cotto but with some adjustments like clinching, more bodywork, Cotto could possibly win a decision.

It will be one tough fight though, Margarito winning is more likely than Cotto.

Cotto does not control his career. He is a puppet. Bob Arum tells Cotto what to do and Cotto does so without fail.

If Bob Arum wants Cotto-Margarito II @ 154lbs.... then it will happen.

Cotto still can't hurt that man and would get walked down and beat again. I don't even like Margarito either but the fact is Cotto couldn't hurt him at his best nothing has changed in that regard.
