Many people here and fans in general judges the situation with their emotions. Readily we would see counters (whether logical or not) against their not so favorite boxer.

It is sad to see it this way because it is marring the sport of pugilism.

We see irrelevant banter about Manny's fear against blood issuance - nothing to do with boxing, if at all. The main issue is whether both fighters would fight.

That is all I care about.

To see the anti-thesis of each other in terms of style. The crafty boxer worthy of the scientific skills of an Ali and Leonard versus the phenomenal punching machine in ways and angles only limited by our minds. Lefty vs Righty...and on and on.

This fight must happen but both sides HAVE TO AGREE and should start with a middle ground.

If yes, then the rest should break down relatively easier. The game is already halfway made if they sincerely wants to fight.

As for the purse, I would say, either the WINNER TAKES ALL or 70/30 to the winner.

Let's bring back respectability towards the sport of boxing.

This is straight fantasy, you can only use this argument when you have no intention of debating the facts.

Historically boxing has always been like this. Jack Dempsey was making movies while holding the heavyweight title hostage for two straight years. James Braddock did damn near the same thing when he won the title and then held onto it until being battered by joe louis.

For as long as the sport has existed this "respectability" you are talking about hasnt been there in ages. Fighters ducked, they pulled out for money reasons, even back in the 20s fighters wouldnt take on guys who they felt werent draws.

So stop living in this bull**** fantasy land and stick to the argument at hand.

Also this "winner take 70/30" **** is nuts. Nobody would illustrate a contract like that. Not now, not ****ing ever for a fight of this magnitude financially.

ummm.....if it was up to usada, why would the head of the organization say he would try to talk to pacquiao??? obviously, its not up to them. they are contracted to provide a service for the fight. they can stop the fight with results but if there is a window that is in a contract where it says no testing within this window, they legally cant do it.

reading comprehension is essential.
