I'm pretty sure that if you do "boycott" his next fight the ratings will drop 50%, Cotto will probably retire because you didn't watch him and Boxing will die!!!!!

With you or without you watching, Cotto always has good draws and always gives good shows on the ring, winning or loosing (I know you enjoy more the loosing part of it).

Credit to Arum for successfully promoting Foreman, despite his "Boreman" reputation, credit to Foreman for showing tremendous heart to fight on that damaged knee, and credit to Cotto for stepping up in weight, dominating an undefeated title holder, and rebuilding his reputation.

So the question, as always after a fight, is what next? The whole welterweight division, and most of the big names around it, are all waiting to find out whether Pacquiao and Mayweather are going to fight each other, and that will determine the matchups for just about everyone else.

Me, I'd like to see Cotto fight rematches with Margarito, Mosley, or maybe even Judah, or fight Berto, Cintron, or Angulo. I don't think he's ready for Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez at the moment, but if he can beat any of those guys, he can step up to Williams or Martinez after that.
        Well written....

The Cotto haters skip the 3.9 rating and just see 1.9 million HOMES and simply think thats the amount of people that saw it. Using that logic May/Mosley and May/JMM got less viewers than a Cotto fight on HBO as those ratings would read 1 and 1.25 million homes purchased the event. Obviously more people watched the May fight because there were more people watching it elsewhere, but I would say 3-5 people average for the Cotto fight means about 6-10 million people watched, sounds about right. I think you'd need a PPV to up that average to abbout 5-10 but still, Cotto IS a draw. This also isn't counting casino's (as I live in vegas) bars and other places that would host this fight.
In CT where i live they also have a LOT of clubs with the fight on. So with that said, its way more in average group per TV.
