Having a business interest doesn't make you less credible. If your personal trainer told you a new way of doing push-ups would you disregard it because he's getting paid?Comment

Imdazed:
get your point but I still can see how manny could be kept in the dark. In the political world its called plausible deniability>
Chuckguy:
I would follow the model that ODH and floyd have done. become your own promoter. work with schaffer (and someone you trust who understands the asian clientele and how to market to them) and dump bob. you can keep roach. That way you have complete control over the content of the message released.Comment

It's killing his most loyal fans on the inside. They need to man up. I'm not talking about his kinsman who would stand by him and even help him inject. I'm talking about his fans who also follow the sport. It's killing them. But the dude gotta take the tests and stop all this BS. It's that simple. It's a shame there is even a debate about cutoffs. How insane is that?Comment

i dont believe so. it shows how much mayweather trying to get an upper hand wanting his way of things or some might say will try to avoid the fight. Either case, I think the "blood" drug testing is irrelevant knowing that they didnt even do "blood" test in may vs mosley fight 18 days before the fight.
You also need to understand that pac agreeing to the 14 days shows that he is trying to make an effort while mayweather on the other hand do nothing to make this fight happen. People should learn by now that not everything could go on your way.Comment

of course floyd tried to make it happen...his way. you can say the same thing with pac...he offered 24 days cut-off, blood testing right after the fight and unlimited urine testing. it just so happened that floyd's way is not pac's way. same thing here on nsb...expectedly floyd fans sided with floyd and pac fans defended pac. it's chaotic but it made some not so busy people with something to do everyday...you know the 24/7 posters.i agree. floyd and GBP had an agency in mind already....but when all the "conspiracy" talk came up, floyd said he'd be willing to work with TOP RANK to find an mutually agreed upon agency to do the testing.
floyd tried to make this thing happen the first time, he really made every concession he could. ppl have to start being real about the situation.Comment

That analogy doesn't even match up. Its more like USADA are salesmen and are trying to pitch their drug testing to Boxing. Of course, they're going to try their best to "sell it" anyway they can. Not saying they aren't credible but they have an ulterior motive.Comment
