I am almost sad, literally sad at the state of the board i used to love so much at this point. These .."posters" have created a bizarro world for themselves.

Never in my time on here have i seen so many posters who have no sense of history, no knowledge on different styles, no knowledge on past champions.

I mean literally in every sense, most of these people only know the opponents of their favorite fighters and thats it, and they have only seen them fight their fav fighters and thats it.

You always had these types of posters, no doubt, but now this is all thats here in almost every sense.

I am sad to see the board devolve into this. Where guys like ray robinson who have nearly a dozen hall of famers on their list are now trumped because pac beat JMM/De La Hoya/Cotto/Morales/Barrera etc. Floyd isnt on that level when it comes to resume, pac isnt neither.

But yet we have people actually arguing and agreeing with the topic starter.

I love how some ****in f@g calling himself 'PACDBEST' has the nerve to accuse someone of being a 12 year old black kid who likes floyd. Smh @ the cism and underhanded/backhanded racism thats been going on on this board lately.

If you notice more than ever, this board and the internet is filled with these pathetic photoshops, articles, "journalism". Nothing is objective, nothing is really fact checked, its just one big agenda after the next. Its actually jaded my view as a whole.

I think it frustrates me because this board has been a great collective of people. I was nowhere near as articulated and i had nowhere near the knowledge i had back in 2004 when i joined then i do now in 2010. I can honestly say i progressed as a poster and as a boxing fan because of this board, because of people on here, even yourself Earner.

I am not just some gay ***** whining about my hero being tarnished, its more than that, its just you have people literally hero worshipping a fighter and buying into his bull**** and backing his every move, when you multiply it it by the amount of people not just on this board, but on every boxing board on the internet there is just no escape from this idiocy.

Pac has won a record 7 world titles which is incredible considering he missed out at least two weight classes. Could go on to beat Cotto which will make him an 8 weight champion, a record that noone will ever come close to beating.

Wins over Morales, Barrera, JMM, Hatton, Cotto, DLH show that he delivers in the big fights. The Henry Armstrong of our era.

A win over Mayweather will mean he would of beaten another ATG. We should all apreciate the greatness that is Manny Pacquiao an inspiration to his people and a true global icon.

The likes of Duran, Hearns, Hagler would not be able to cope with the P4P king. I can see SRL outboxing Pac early on in the fight but Pacs awkward angle punching will mean that he stops SRL late on.

SRR would be a 50/50 tossup. However who better than Roach to come up with the perfect game plan to beat him. I can see Pac posing the same problems Jake La Motta did.
