Wins over Morales, Barrera, JMM, Hatton, Cotto, DLH show that he delivers in the big fights. The Henry Armstrong of our era.
A win over Mayweather will mean he would of beaten another ATG. We should all apreciate the greatness that is Manny Pacquiao an inspiration to his people and a true global icon.
The likes of Duran, Hearns, Hagler would not be able to cope with the P4P king. I can see SRL outboxing Pac early on in the fight but Pacs awkward angle punching will mean that he stops SRL late on.
SRR would be a 50/50 tossup. However who better than Roach to come up with the perfect game plan to beat him. I can see Pac posing the same problems Jake La Motta did.

I think it funny how pac fans will make a thread saying something like "Mayweather isn't an ATG" then use a win against Mayweather as justification for Pacquiao being rated above all other fighters in history.

After Mayweather knocks out Pacman, I will START so many threads, i'll be banned from BS.LOL Pacfans are crazy ignorant in the boxing game. This guys record sucks. He has never beat anyone undeated, every welterweight on his record got the hell beat out of them in their previous fight. They were all on losing streaks, on thier way out the sport. Mayweather fought the better fighters. Hatton was undeafeated rank #5 p4p when Floyd ko'd him. De la hoya was coming off an impressive ko victory when Mayweather fought him at middle weight. They both were at the top of thier game when Mayweather fought them. So was deiago carrales, zab judah, shane moesly,Juan Manuel Marquez,Sharmba Mitchell,DeMarcus Corley,Jose Luis Castillo,Emanuel Augustus,Angel Manfredy,Phillip N'dou,Arturo Gatti,Juan Manuel Marquez. They all were at the top of thier game when pretty boy floyd whipped thier ass. So any real boxing fan will tell you pacman is made up. He won his awards just like G.Bush won the election. After lil Floyd ko's him , the record will be set straight. Pacman will retire as a fraud. Mayweather will get his respect in the history books, just like Ali.

funnier still is if Mayweather manages to outbox Pac for 12 rounds, or maybe even stops him, they'll just say he was blood drained, too small, Mayweather still isn't an ATG. and the excuses will go on and on. If Pac wins? He's the greatest fighter in history.

Pac is above SRR now. If we go by the mantra that things get better over time. Cars are better. Tecnology is better.
Therefore Pac is better. Clottey has fought all the best welterweights over the years and says Pac is the only time he felt he lost.
Of course Pac is better than SRR. And of course people will fight it and say he isnt. Thats life and to be expected.
