Why I believe Floyd is a cherrypicker

Like Team Pac doesn't choose fights wisely. LMAO. Pull, like you say Floyd cherry picked after Castillo. I say Roach wisely picked fights for Pac after the first Morales loss.

Some of Pac's wins -

• Weight drained Erik Morales (who lost his previous fight to Zahir Raheem at 135 pounds, a weight that Team Roach and Pac refused to fight him at)
• Past Prime Barrera who was coming off a loss
• David Diaz for lightweight title snatching (Diaz was the worst titlist at the time and many would argue lost to a shot Morales)
• Zombie DLH
• Chinny Hatton who was overrated and already lost to Floyd by KO
• Skinny Cotto (demanded catch weight for title fight, Cotto moves up in weight next fight)
• Clottey who didn't deserve the fight and had no chance to win. Clottey's best win is a faded Zab Judah and a bloated Diego Corrales.

Fights Pac didn't take

• Marquez rematch - for 4 years Roach and Pac avoided a rematch with Marquez after the initial draw. In that time, Pac had the time to fight the above mentioned weight drained Morales and past prime Barrera who he already beat.
• Decent lightweight titlist - Anyone at the time would've been a step up from David Diaz. (Casamayor and Campbell)
• Mosley - Roach demanded the fight at 142 pounds, knowing that IF Mosley could make the weight, he would be drained. Reasoning: "He's too good"
• Yuri Foreman - "He's too tall"
• Cotto at 147 - Roach needed those extra 2 pounds to make sure Cotto was not at full strength. Even though Pac had already fought DLH at 147.

I honestly believe that Pac is not behind any of this, so I don't fault him. Roach and Arum have carefully designed this run he's on.

EXACTLY! that is all i am saying, THEY ALL "CHERRYPICK"! not exactly the Boxers themselves but the people behind them (Promoters, Managers) it is their job to get their fighter the most money possible because the more money the fighter makes, the more money they will make

You have to take into account that Hatton wanted him at 147, but wanted no part of him after the Gatti fight. Cotto also didn't particularly want it at 140. Cotto had a fight with Mosley within a month of Floyd vs Hatton, so the only real time I'd say that Mayweather v Cotto should have happend is after the Hatton and Mosley fights.

Margarito I don't take seriously, because he only really exploded when Floyd had become massive and was bowing out.

Mosley is deemed to be a tough task for Mayweather, yet Mayweathers team tried to make the fight happen a few times (Jack Mosley asking for 10 million guarantee etc) so that wouldn't have been cherrypicking. I don't believe Mayweather has cherrypicked anywhere close to the way people say. The only barren run he had was his Sosa, Brusseles and Mitchells really.

Exactly. The entire match making system is based on risk vs. reward.

High risk - low reward is not good for fighters. In the case of most boxers including Pac and Floyd, they're careers have been built on low risk - high reward fights.
