Cotto by decision - i'd rather see Cotto vs Margarito, if Cotto really wants, and I emphasis "wants," to redeem himself of that brutal loss (and a questionable one at that), then a rematch is a must. Offer a 75-25 split, Margarito will take it, he has nothing else to look forward to...but Cotto vs Berto is an intriguing match.

I already said Berto could be exposed for the protected fighter he is perceived to be, I simply feel that him going through less and knowing how to tie up while Cotto cannot even to survive and save his life would make the fight hard. Berto holds and hits and i think it would help him gas cotto and open those eyes up and make him melt down.

Even if you felt it was a draw that means that even you still realize that it was a close enough fight that could of gone either way. So Cotto has the victory so you have to give him that. And, that was a big fight.

Also don't use triangle theories. Be smarter than that. If you going to use triangle theories then Cotto beats Berto because, he beat Quintana in a way more dominant and easier fashion than Berto did. Do you see how ****** it is to use triangle theories? So what Shane ****d Margarito that means nothing because Shane even by your account couldn't **** Cotto.

Also Cotto showed heart in his fights against Torres and Clottey. So for you to say he NEVER showed heart or NEVER won a big fight is totally inaccurate. And, for you to call him and hypejob journeyman shows how credible you are. Get some more knowledge of the sport before discussing it. Stick to what you know and that is Floyd Mayweather.

Bottom line there isn't a fighter Mayweather has beaten that Cotto couldn't beat. The version of Mosley Cotto beat was much better than the older Mosley that almost knocked out Mayweather, but didn't have enough to beat him. And Mayweather wants no part of the Pacman that beat Cotto, he's hoping he stops taking something to have a chance to beat him. If Mayweather felt he could beat the same Pac he wouldn't hesitate in fighting him. Why would he, Mayweather is just hoping Pac gets shot by fighting a fighter with brick gloves. I'm sure he would'nt hesitate in fighting him if Pac gets hurt, no matter how much steroids he might think he's taking.

But seriously if this was a year and a half before I say Cotto by KO but Berto looked pretty good vs Quintana. He had power insane speed and better defense. So I give today's Cotto a 60 / 40 chance vs Berto and by UD. Brutal fight.
Im not sure i have to go with Cotto because Berto is still unproven at Welter in my opinion, let alone Jr Middle. He has had a couple of wins but lets be real. If he could comfortably make 140 i think he would be a genuine threat to all the big names down there though such as Khan, Alexander, Bradley etc
