Cotto cannot tie up Berto does and I think berto would frustrate Cotto all night and make it hard for him to get comfortable. Also Foreman was hitting Cotto pretty easty and I feel Berto is a harder puncher and much faster, that with his ability to make the fight ugly is why i'd pick him. Also Berto has more confidence and has been through far less punishment. Of course Cotto could beat him and expose him as a protected fighter, but I didn't see anything in Coto last saturday that makes me believe he is so far improved that he would take this easy, Cotto couldn't even get Jennings out of there fast let alone Berto.

If that fight gets made Berto will suprise the hell out of this board. Berto's no Foreman, and I don't think Cotto can handle him.

Gasses alot faster then cotto is what i would say.Then he'll clinch all the rounds after.Ive seen alot of berto fights,he'll have spurts of "explosive" punches then just drop his hands.Most of his fights are under 6 but with a top quality opponent he might not last past that.But you wont deny cotto would beat him? nay or yay?

Nor do i, Cotto gasses himself when he doesn't get his way in a fight, he runs or hits low everytime. Like I said maybe Berto is exposed as the protected fighter he is, but Cotto still hasn't proved anything against a tough fighter yet this win was no more significant than Gomez or Jennings. Berto hasn't taken nearly as much punishment and with his hit and hold style i think it will work in his favor. Maybe I am wrong about berto being that he's never been in a fight that big, but Cotto still hasn't showed me any improvement on defense and still beat a man with one leg and no power, Berto isn't a one legged bum and to me he can punch so will see.
