Why is Miguel Cotto pushing so hard to avoid a Margarito rematch?

Some of you are really dense. If you felt someone cheated you and even worse took years off your career, would you work with him? On top of that would you reward that guy with his biggest pay day and millions of dollars if it meant you had to work with the guy? In all seriousness you would despise that person and want nothing to do with that person. Just because you want to see that fight and if it doesn't happen, doesn't mean he is ducking Margarito or doesn't want to kill him. It just means you hate the guy that much that you don't want to see that person profit off your name. I don't care if Miguel beat Floyd and Margarito beat Pac and it was the number 1 fight and would do 5 million buys, I wouldn't want Miguel to fight Marg ever.

As a fan, I want to see the fight because it'll give Migs some closure and help him get the swag that he lost that night. Swag that not even beating Mayweather or Pacquaio can give him.

But if Cotto feels cheated, then I respect that decision. Nothing worse than messing with a man's money and Margarito can't fight anyone short of Pacquaio or Mayweather that will get him any sort of bread like a Cotto fight can, so I understand Cotto's stance.

Also you guys need to stop with the bad matchup ****. Watch the damn fight again. The first 6 rounds were all won by Miguel except 1 round. Had Miguel fought a bit smarter, boxed a bit better, he would of clearly won. Up to the stoppage Miguel was up on the cards and had the plaster not taken over and he survived another 4 minutes he would of came out the victor. A bit better gameplan and Miguel wins, it's not that bad of a matchup for him. Just like most Mexican fighters, Margarito is an overrated piece of ****(this excludes MAB and JMM of course).

Why would Cotto all of a sudden be afraid to fight Margarito when there was already a rematch almost signed and delivered when Margarito screwed it up by trying to cheat?

Scared? After everything Cotto has faced in the ring, you would say he's scared of somebody? That's absolute garbage. I honestly think Cotto would face death in the ring before backing down..

He won't fight Margarito because of the principle, this guy almost destroyed his career and his life by cheating, and he's gonna agree to a fight that would put millions in his bank account? **** no- I would rather die than agree to that deal too.
