Funny how this topic is being brought up by a Mexican. Ok, so what makes you think he's scared of Margarito??? Cotto was taking him 2 school for the 1st half of the fight. Kellerman called a classic performance by Cotto. Against Pacquiao, he got his ass kicked. Didn't really win 1 clear cut round but yet, he has expressed interest in redeeming himself. When it comes 2 Tony The Consrtuction Worker, Cotto totally dismisses any thought of a fight with him because he's a ****ing cheater. Get it thru your big, block head. He's a CHEATER. NO LICSENSE even after the year suspension passed by. He feels Tony used those same wraps on him and he doesn't respect him as a man or a boxer. You have 2 be a real idiot if you think Margarito decided 2 cheat after becoming the #1 Welterweight in the world. Its like his honor just gets thrown out the window all of the sudden??? He feels that everything he's done in his career was worthless and loading up his wraps 2 fight Mosley mattered more 2 him??? Im not making it out 2 be a Boricua-Mexican thing but you people refuse 2 use your big ass heads and think. Ya say it was the trainer and Tony didn't know anything, BULL****!!! If any of ya saw the HBO Countdown, they spoke about the differences in the trainers relationships with the fighters. Miguel and Evangelista didn't get along at all while capetilo was a ****ing father figure 2 Tony. And he without Margaritos knowledge decides 2 put Plaster on his wraps b4 the Mosley fight..... Are you ****ing kidding me??? Lets be serious here.

They think it somehow justifies their lame ass opinion. Truth is it doesn't even relate to the situation.

And when did you become an expert on hand wraps? Everyone is suddenly and arm chair boxing trainer all of a sudden?
they didn't have the same stain in more than ONE fight.. they had it in one. meaning they had an abrasion to their hand in the fight. Margarito had it in Mulitple fights.

this could mean it was a used pad. why would you have a blood stain before even throwing a punch in a fight? could you please answer that. I've been dying to hear a legitimate response to it.

Corrales and Ortiz had it after a fight. Margarito had it before it even HAPPENED.

and two.. anyone who has used gause and tape to wrap their hands knows it never cracks.. unless they've been tampered with.

Nothing wrong with being su****ious but other then innuendo and speculation what real evidence do you have?

I say Cotto and everyone who is against Tony should want their theory tested in the ring. But as I said before if the fight never happens who cares? I don't think it's that necessary.

Why are Margo fans so interested in a Cotto rematch? Margo has his number and would beat him again. Just don't get it. Martinez wants to fight him and Arum is dangling Pac in front of him. If Margo still has it let him rematch Mosley or Williams which have wins over him. They keep on saying that Cotto has to redeem himself but the way I see it Margo is the one that has to rebuild his name and reputation

Here are a couple of reasons why I think he's avoiding a rematch with Margarito...

                1. Margarito does not deserve to make another big payday like that again.
                2. Margarito is a cheating scumbag who was busted with loaded gloves.
                3. Sugar Shane Mosley beat Margarito so bad that the scumbag is now irrelevant to the sport.

There is even a picture to prove it. Gause doesn't crack like that unless it's been tampered with.

&& you idiots try to say that I have this stance simply because I am a Cotto fans.. go back and see my posts when this **** first happened, I initially gave Margarito the benefit of the doubt and thought there was no way he could be cheating. After seeing the wraps however, I'm unsure how any of you believe that Margarito isn't at all a cheat without the slightest of doubt.

let's get to the nitty gritty:

"Kizer is confident the rules and procedures in Nevada prevent any irregularities during hand wrapping and putting on the gloves. "We have experienced inspectors not only watching the hands being wrapped, but also the gloves being put on," Kizer said. "They feel the wraps and sign them and then the gloves and sign them."

One difference between Nevada and Calfornia is that Nevada provides the gauze for the hand wrappings, while California allows fighters to use their own gauze.

Speaking specifically about July, Kizer said, representatives from the Cotto camp were in Margarito's dressing room during the entire wrapping of the hands. "They were in there from the beginning," Kizer said. "Not only them but people from HBO, people from MGM, there are always a dozen or so people in the dressing room."

                    I bolded the important parts

now can you stop with name calling?

                    Thanks

The thing is that this is all again is just speculation. You're entire argument is innuendo and not fact. You can't turn a red dot on someones hand into concrete evidence. For all you know that red dot could be completely unrelated to an actual doctoring of the gloves.
