Why is Miguel Cotto pushing so hard to avoid a Margarito rematch?

Why isn't MARGARITO pushing realy hard for a rematch with Mosley.I'm talking about not half arssing it like he's been doing,but going all out for one.

Margarito didn't exactly look like the Margarito from pre-handwraps scandal in his outting with Roberto Garcia. Garcia was knocked down early in round 1, but he was able to actually put pressure on Margarito later in the fight. Margarito couldn't find a way to break this fighter down, a fighter that nobody thought would last 5 rounds. It wasn't the same Margarito as before. Whether that is due to loaded wraps or something else, that's for our opinions to decide. My personal opinion of Margarito is that the damage he took from both Cotto and Mosley has took something out of his ability to resist damage. I believe he also knew his wraps were not legit, and I think it trails all the way back at least to the fights after the Williams fights. Also, I don't think he will mentally recover from the whole wraps scandal.

If I were Cotto, I wouldn't want to take the fight. However, this may be the best option for him if he can't get a rematch with Pacquiao or get someone like Berto to fight him.

I believe Cotto would beat Margarito in a rematch, but I don't really ever care to see another Margarito fight.

listen, if I were Cotto I wouldn't give this guy the beneit of a rematch...you have to understand cottos first loss comes frm a proven cheater. He has probably looked at the picture showing margos wraps a million times and is like,,,This ***** tried to kill me. How would you feel if your most important loss come from the hands of a cheater???

Here are a couple of reasons why I think he's avoiding a rematch with Margarito...

1. Margarito does not deserve to make another big payday like that again.
2. Margarito is a cheating scumbag who was busted with loaded gloves.
3. Sugar Shane Mosley beat Margarito so bad that the scumbag is now irrelevant to the sport.

Well, put Huey...short, to the point and fact. Cotto already showed he ain't afraid of anybody. He's a man of principle. He has nothing to prove re; margo and doesn't owe him anything. it's Cotto's choice to not let him make any money off him. Cotto knows what happened.

Cotto is enjoying a nice comeback and margo fans don't like it, plain as that.

People forget about how BADLY Shane whooped that ass. I mean, from round 1 and on. It was like a sparring session. Mosley made him look like a ****ing bum. A fighter who Cotto beat already at that.
