I think Martinez and Williams would definitely give him problems, especially Williams (due to Williams high work rate). I think Angulo or Kirkland can give him problems too. Cotto/Angulo or Cotto/Kirkland would definitely be two fights I wouldn't mind seeing.

exactly what im saying. not because theyre bigger, theyre better. cotto might lose the fights at 154 just because of sheer size advantage of his opponents

Cotto more well rounded? I dont know about that, It's debatable. Cotto is a very good fighter but I think he tries to fight too much, Maybe that's been changed abit with Manny Steward in his corner but I still dont think he is as good as some people believe. Martinez isnt that well rounded either but he can box, move and punch which is pretty much the same as what Cotto can do although he doesnt move as well as Sergio. You can argue he has a better resume but has Cotto been in with a guy like Paul Williams and won? I dont think so...

        Martinez, Dzinziruk, Williams...

I dont think he can beat any of those 3 guys but time will tell...

Assuming that Arum gives the fans the fights we want to see...

cotto can box, brawl and counter. that alone makes me believe that hes better than martinez though i agree with you that sergio moves better than him but again its debatable

cotto has beaten fighters that are way better than williams. let me throw shane mosley's name right there

True but we have seen what happens to Cotto when he fights Paul Williams' style.

Only difference with Paul is. He is taller, has a way longer reach, is faster, and his harder to hit.

i know for a fact that cotto would fight anybody, anytime, anywhere so with that said i think he wont turn down a fight against williams given the chance. the only problem is, arum might not allow that fight to happen because of paul's overwhelming advantages youve provided.

and pls, williams isnt hard to hit. he use his size for his defense against smaller opponents and we've already seen how much he gets hit against martinez and cintron

Yeah, Mosley. That was a great win but still...

I mean Cotto was a natural Welterweight. You know Paul is really a natural Middleweight with a crazy metabolism lol. I think the fight would be very exciting if it happened...

except martinez, whos possibly the more skilled fighter than cotto in that division? and of all those names, cotto has the best resume
For anyone who doesnt know they have...

                      #1 - Martinez
                      #2 - Leapfrog Cintron
                      #3 - Ryan Rhodes
                      #4 - Alfredo Angulo
                      #5 - Sechew Powell
                      #6 - Yuri Foreman
                      #7 - Joachim Alcine
                      #8 - Vanes Martirosyan
                      #9 - Sergei Dzinziruk
                      #10 - Saul Alvarez

Of those lot I feel that only Martinez and Dzinziruk could beat him. Basically because both of them are bigger taller rangy fighters who (unlike Foreman) have the power to keep him off of them. Angulo would be a very interesting fight but I think Cotto beats him because he has more strings to his bow than Angulo has. He can box and move very simular to the way Cintron did in beating Angulo. Aside from those 3 and maybe Vanes, I see Miguel beating all of those guys....

I think the guys who would give him the most power are in this order...

                      #1 Paul Williams
                      #2 Sergio Martinez
                      #3 Sergiy Dzinziruk
                      #4 Antonio Margarito

I would love to see at least 2 of those fights before Miguel retires...
