Completely dumb, Martinez just beat the middleweight king, a guy who outweighed him by 12 pounds and had 4 inches of height on him who punches 10 times harder than Cotto.

I also think Cotto is the best at 154. Martinez is good but he hasnt really beaten a top p4p boxer. Martinez also got KOed by Margarito.

with that said, i dont think miguel should continue his campaign at 154. he may lose his fights in that division only because of the size advantage his opponents will have over him

        Congratulations Miguel!
in reality..you're out of your damn mind. martinez and williams would both beat cotto. *** a resume when you got fighters in the same division who can fight each other to prove who's best.

What ever made Williams so good? A one round KO over Quintana after Quintana clowned him in the first fight. Or was it the gift decision he got for losing to Martinez? Williams has made a name about being the "most avoided" guy in boxing by doing nothing but just letting big names roll off his tongue. Apparently that makes you an elite 154 or 160 pounder, I should start doing it maybe get a 6 figure pay day.

Martinez hasn't beat anyone of relevance either, I think he beat Williams who is nothing but a tall guy with a ton of stamina not much else. Then Pavlik is a guy with one big punch and nothing else, Martinez ran circles around these guys but I'm sorry guys that are 6'2 in boxing are not agile. Sure Martinez looked fast against these guys but compare it to the speed Cotto's faced, no way in hell anyone tells me he's faster than Judah, Mosley, Pac or Malignaggi. I'm fine with people sleepin on Cotto in this division it'll make his career rebirth that much better.

There might not be a better fighter at 154 but there are fighters capable of beating him at the weight.

Cotto better than Martinez? Huh? Martinez would dance circles around Cotto, I wouldn't be surprised if Maravilla beats him late TKO..

Cotto might also lose to Paul Williams since Cotto can fold under pressure as well..

As for Dzinziruk, he has a chance but he will be eating lots of stiff right jabs.. If he gets through the jab ans closes the distance, he can pound Dzinziruk's body.. I'd say it's a 50/50 fight..

IMHO .. Cotto is the most skilled fighter in the division and hs the best resume out of anyone there..

He's a very well rouded fighter.. he can brawl and he can box.. He has a GREAT jab..

He doesnt do so good with people who can play his game which is to stalk the opponent.. if he has someone pressuring it isnt good for him..
But at the same time he always starts off good.. just gets tired in the later rounds.. He was boxing beautifully in the 1st half of the fight.. untill he gassed from the pressure.. same with Pac..

I think that if he actually boxed in the 154 division instead of trying to brawl with everyone and stays behind his jab and works more on his stamina he could be the best fighter in the division..

I hate hearing about someone being to small.. Pac was too small and look what he's done.. May is small and look at what he's done.. Now some people will tell me not to compare Cotto with May or Pac but in all seriousness Cotto is up there with the elite fighters wether people want to admit it or not..

The only person i think he would have the most trouble with is Martinez but its still a winnable fight..

Pwill got his ears boxed out by Quintana.. If Cotto puts on a "boxing" fight then i really do think he could beat Pwill..

The fight I want to see right now is Cotto vs...... well honestly anyone in the division.. I really dont think there would be a bad fight no matter who he fights there..

It wouldnt be bad for him to go down to 147 and fight Berto either or May..
