Of course he had a choice, he's a superstar. However you're making it sound like there were other gold mines at 147 that he could have fought that would have been better than Clottey when in fact there were none.

after seeing cotto whip his ass i bet hes sorry he didnt take foreman now. arum always brings up margarito i personally dont like that but it makes money. if he waited 2 weeks instead of jumping the gun he could have whipped berto. all thos fights make money and are exciting.

yeah, foreman/pac wouldve done ridiculous ppv numbers.
margarito was suspended and still cant technically fight in the states.

and lol at a berto fight making money. he couldnt sell out an ice rink.

        what were those choices again?

          LOL!

          1,000,000,000 PPV buys. Book it.

I'm actually surprised to see a Cotto fan avidly back Mayweather. From a personality stand point I would of thought that Cotto fans would hate Mayweather since they're completely opposite. Cotto is a warrior, while Mayweather is... well Mayweather.

compared to clottey better. and even the philippines or mexico margarito makes a million. as much as i dont like it margarito sells. and unifying the welterweight championship is more sellable. and attempting 8 titles in 8 weight divisions is more sellable. than beating up the guy who lost to the last guy i beat

I see your point about the 8th title perspective. But I seriously doubt Pac/Yuri would have outsold Pac/Clottey. As much of an unknown commodity Clottey was Yuri was even more unknown. Like the previous poster said, Margs was not an option. The only place he was licensed at the time was mexico.

i meant hosting the fight in the philippines or mexico would still have done a million buys. and i believe pac foreman could have sold the guy gets alot of hype simply because of his religion

you're right. manny should have fought in mexico or back in the Philippines where he could make like 5 dollars a ticket, while on free tv...at some odd hour, while selling a foreign event to the american public.
                  belts arent "sellable," fighters are.
its debatable who won the clottey/cotto fight.
                  try again.
                  need a bigger shovel?

your right fighting the guy who lost his last fight to the guy i just beat is totally marketable. and had the fight been done in the philippines it would have been done to an american time for the ppv sales. and ill take a spade because according to you pac is right no matter what so im done arguing with you.
