Why is team Pac agreeing to an "old" deal?

they both had a legit claim in negotiations as to whom was the bigger draw the first time around. they broke off negotiations to see who makes more money. for gods sake acknowledge the ****ing fact that floyd made more than pac. NOBODY made him choose clottey the world breaker lmfao. NOBODY!!! who generated more money when they couldn't settle financial negotiations for this fight? were talkin money here. if you cant acknowledge the facts and answer these simple questions im done with you.Comment

the mosley fight fell into floyd's lap.
it had nothing to do with a pissing contest to see who would earn more. every boxing fan and their mama knew clottey couldnt draw sht.Comment

So pacquiao jumping the gun on a pissing contest is floyds fault? NOBODY made pac choose clottey. NOBODY! NOBODY forced his hand.Comment

manny's a fighter and he acts like one.
at some point you gotta move on and do what you do, which in manny's case is continue to take fights, regardless of the risk.
same situation here, if floyd digs in his heels, manny will move on while floyd will talk about taking time off.Comment

And yes, Floyd did make more against Mosley than Pacquiao made against Cotto. So what? The difference isn't big enough to demand anything significantly different from their first initial offers. If Mosley/May sold 2+ mil like GBP and MP were spewing then I wouldn't have a problem with Floyd having the leverage in the negotiations. But guess what, his fight didn't do nearly as big as they said it would. It barely outsold Pacquiao/Cotto and May/Mosley was definitely promoted MORE (they even had the SB to announce their fight... the f'n SUPERBOWL!). So yes, if we're talking purely straight numbers, Floyd outsold Pac. But was it enough to tip the scales to where he gets to make new outlandish demands? **** No.Comment

Uhhh... actually Floyd forced Arum's hand. When Floyd wouldn't compromise from the 14 day cutoff (likewise with Pacquiao not budging from 24), the fight fell through. Arum (at the time) probably felt that Mayweather would be left high and dry (since Mosley was occupied with Berto) so he immediately pulled the trigger on Pac/Clottey.Comment

jumped the gun? they'd probably still be negotiating.

what im amazed you ****ers dont see is that Manny Pacquiao is in fact Manny Pacquiao. 3 time fighter of the year fighter of the decade 1st fighter to EVER win 7 world titles in 7 weight divisions. If he doesnt have a say in who he fights thats his dumbass fault. he has enough clout to deny blood testing he can ****ing choose who he fights. if he lets puppeteers decide his future whos fault is that? HE HAD A CHOICE.Comment
