Damn I though this fight was close to getting signed. Instead agreeing to some old **** Team Pac should be serious about this.

I know this is Arums doing.

This ISNT a Pac hate thread. Pac and Roach want it.

    ARUM doesnt.
Do you want the fight or not? Jesus H Christ, nothing will make you happy. You don't even know if Floyd will accept the compromise, what if he does and the fight gets made, will you still be pissed?

At the end of the day,Floyd and Manny can accept whatever they want.If the fight is made,I am happy.

At the same time,I am a realist and can see through some of the bull**** that Arum and Manny's team spin....like I have said before-if Manny REALLY felt that OST would weaken him too much to fight (remember,Manny said he would be too weak, and it would interfere with his training)and that Floyd was "bullying" him before with his request, why is it suddenly acceptable and even desirable to Manny now? Sounds like some B.S....and that is why Arum want the current negotiations to be private-especially when all of those lies were exposed previously.

C'mon, why are you dissecting every little thing that comes out of these 2 camps? If this agreement gets the fight made, then so be it. We all win. Who cares what their intentions are. I just wanna see a ****ing fight, don't you? WHo gets a bigger split, drug tests, weight penalties...none of that **** has nothing to do with us, so why are ya'll stressin over it?

I didn't realize they were negotiating when Floyd said the deal was off the table.

I also didn't realize people take Floyd's "talk" serious.

"I might take a year or two off..."

Of course I want to see this **** happen...but there are barricades that prevent us from seeing this.
When the negotiations were going on the first time,I stayed up late every night for a while hoping there would be some progression....we got Clottey/Pac and Floyd/Shane. One of those fights were a great substitute, but I still took it as it was-a substitute.

To me,all of this **** could have happened already if Manny agreed to it in the first place instead of waiting several months later...now he has essentially given Floyd the leverage, and we know Floyd isn't going to be a gentleman about it! lol

"Why is team Pac agreeing to an "old" deal?"

why not?? it was offered before why not offer it again?? what changed??
if anything pac is now budging a little, and trying to compromise, floyd's camp is the one trying demand things that they KNOW pac's camp won't agree on, ie. 60-40 split

pac is still #1 pound for pound and this fight will still break records and make them 40 million each, if they offered this compromise before, why not agree to it now that the other party is willing??

pac's camp is not gonna bow down to the mayweathers, they are equal in status and a compromise is needed.

                60-40 is bs
and saying no to 14 days when it was ur idea to begin with is bs
