What ever happened to Roach saying they were doing 55-45 in Floyds favor. Im sure thats good enough to get it done. Give Floyd more PPV money. Give Pac more live gate money. Fight done.
Why is team Pac agreeing to an "old" deal?

Do you know that for a fact?
But even if it's correct, I wouldn't mind too. After all, Pacquiao has the goods!
And all Floyd has is his zero and his blood testing (and his mouth) now these are overshadowing his true skills, now we have something going on with Pac agreeing, and people wanna go back to December last year, instead of clamoring for a fight, they want Floyd to have an upperhand on the negos.
Jro nailed it! Either people are boxing fans or bargaining fans! That's what's up.
Funny how you make Floyd sound like he only has an "0" and nothing more. You are out of touch with what Floyd actually does bring to the table.
I'm not a bargaining fan as you imply-I just know that Manny's past negotiations nearly ****ed up because of HIM-nobody else. When there is a pattern of him nearly ****ing off big fights, you turn a blind eye or point the other direction....the reality is,the more popular he has become, the more impossible he has been to negotiate with. That is what I mean when I say "fame has gotten to his head".He isn't the only one in this sport that has pull or popularity....Last edited by damned1974; 06-07-2010, 08:13 AM.Comment

If Pacquiao don't want to fight, Floyd can't force him to. Pacquiao knows he's just going to be another Gatti in there. It would be hilarious what happens to the Philippines when their hero gets destroyed, not just beaten but humiliated and exposed. The whole country would have to go see a psychiatrist.Comment

Well-even if fame has gotten to his head,it doesn't bother you,eh?

We all know negos ****ed up the first time. But again I ask you, do you know for a fact that it was Pac and nobody else who's at fault? Never occured to you that scumbag Arum might have a hand? And moreover you let out Floyd at no fault??? IMO they're both at fault!
I'm also a fan of Floyd's skills, but yes, he only has his ZERO, and his blood tests, and all this circus about taking a coupla years off is waning his greatness, and that's a shame, and I don't mind being out of touch with what Floyd offers to the table...Comment

Give me a break-if your future opponent would make you the largest amount of money in your lifetime, give you every request demanded, etc - you would tell them to get ****ed over one traded request???
The right logic would be to find a compromise or grant the measly singular request (after all,you are getting everything you asked for).
Funny that you would tell him to **** off,yet now Manny is craving that same offer....
Remember-this "challenger" is Floyd Mayweather... not some unknown bum who doesn't bring you money or further your legacy...he should be entitled to at least one request.Comment

As for Arum playing a part of the Floyd/Manny problems-I would believe this to be a part as well.In past negotiations with Cotto,it wouldn't make the best of logic however, since Cotto is also under Top Rank.
You can call it coincidence or whatever, but these same issues never seemed to arise as dynamic as they did when Hatton and Floyd had negotiations.Comment

See this is what you and other people don't get. By simply having one "request" has already created rumours amongst boxing fans on both camps. You know what that is man...subliminal messages through "one request". Its accusing someone without actually accusing them. I must admit, PBF knows how to work it. PBF doesn't care about boxing or his fans. All he cares about is himself and making money, as he said its all business. He ain't a warrior like Pacman. He ain't a fighter in the real sense of the word. Which is why he's using his PPV stats as a bargaining tool, because he knows that's all he's got when he goes against Pacman..NOTHING ELSE
You say "it is accusing someone WITHOUT accusing them" ....which one is it????
BTW-do you really think either of these boxers fight for free-of course they care about money-don't think for one minute than Manny doesn't care about money or fame as much as anyone else-it got him out of poverty and keeps him and his family out of a rough life....the same reason Floyd fights.Last edited by damned1974; 06-07-2010, 08:40 AM.Comment

Well,if the subject at hand is ABOUT negotiations, then you should want to be in touch instead of neglecting that both parties bring something beneficial to the table. It is not exclusive to one person as you make it appear..in fact,I am sure you don't even buy into that nonsense.
