Yep, and good point.
Maybe we just have to wait a bit longer?
Arum has confirmed that negotiations are officially underway.
Manny has reiterated his new stance on random blood testing, which is a huge positive if you really think about it.....
* Manny is aware of the current negotiating situation, yet has publicly mentioned a cut-off, which eases the concerns over Mayweathers previous "no cut-off" stance
* Arum has just publicly confirmed that negotiations are still continuing, perhaps also confirming that Mayweather's recent "I'm outa here" comments may have been misleading
Maybe we just need to waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiit ?Comment

That last statement has to be the reason why these clowns get a pass in the media! If OTL put all the facts on the table, I bet they would surely cut the BS!i stongly disagree.........random OST is no big deal at all...........no matter how much Pac and his army of worshippers want to whine and ***** about it............it isn't something that should hold up a fight because of one fighters lame excuses..........
and from a business persepctive Floyd would have to be ****** to give Pac 50%......it would be very generous.......55%/45% is fair IMO.......and team Pac realises this.....hence they are on the front foot and attacking through the media....essentially saying yes to a deal they (and the worshippers) said was unacceptable in March..........ofcourse the American media and boxing establishment cannot handle a loud mouthed black kid in charge of his own destiny......so they overlook the hypocrisy of team Pacquaio.......Comment

don't put words in people's mouth. i din't say it's immature to want to see this fight. what's immature is blaming floyd for being difficult to negotiate. Negotiation is supposed to be difficult. if being easy-to-get on any negotiation was the right thing to do, then certainly Pac wasn't doing the right thing for not agreeing to the 14-day cut-off the first time around.Comment

yes, i CAN blame floyd. it doesnt HAVE to be that difficult especially if both camps have the same desire for the fight to be made...and in a timely fashion.don't put words in people's mouth. i din't say it's immature to want to see this fight. what's immature is blaming floyd for being difficult to negotiate. Negotiation is supposed to be difficult. if being easy-to-get on any negotiation was the right thing to do, then certainly Pac wasn't doing the right thing for not agreeing to the 14-day cut-off the first time around.
one camp is moving closer, the other camp is moving further away.Comment

Pacquiao's back peddling to agree to Mayweather earlier request on drug testing leaves no doubt whom was guilty of destroying the proposed March bout. If Pac and his team felt so strongly back in January about not accepting Floyd's USADA blood testing request, why all of a sudden do they have a change of heart? Manny's no longer afraid of needles, or yet, being energy zapped from the tests??? Something smells like rotten fish here. If I'm Floyd I'll tread carefully with these ***S.Comment

oh god. yes, we all want to see the negotiation to go from 0 to 60 in no time, but in reality negotiations of this magnitude will never be easy as egos of epic proportion are involved. The deal broke down last march cuz pac walked away from the random test. Now a new deal is being considered. A new deal that reflects where Floyd and Pac stand after their Mosley and Clottey fight, and not just based on the old Marquez and Cotto fights. The deal hasn't broken down yet, so we wait...Comment
