If you remember hearing Lampley, he said he doesn't recall hearing those thudding blows from Margarito the way he heard in the Cotto fight. I don't think he can do that fighters at Jr MW are coming from him and there are alot of tough fighters in that div.

It was a major fight changer. Cotto could've had his career ended because he wasn't at his best against a killing machine like Pacquiao that didn't need any extra advantages to begin with. The man was in a weakened physical condition. I'm not gonna sugar coat these facts.
