Never a dull moment...
So many people are gonna be sitting in front of their TV's when the first bell sounds saying "I can't believe this is actually happening", it's gonna be hilarious.
Then half of you will be crying when Mayweather wins.

I don't know why they wouldn't be thinking more seriously about Dallas. Why not take in tens of thousands more tickets sales in addition to what will surely be the biggest PPV boxing event in history?!
About the pay split, this fight should be 50-50 and that is the only way it is going down. Neither fighter is going to budge on that, and they shouldn't. Mayweather's citing of recent PPV numbers are silly. Imagine their two most recent fights had been switched. I can't see Mayweather-Clottey doing nearly a 700000+ buys, and I don't see Pacquiao-Mosley doing any worse than Mayweather-Mosley.
I don't think that Pacquiao necessarily made a wise business choice by taking the original stand against the random drug testing, but it's understandable. Imagine that the police show up at your house and say that, because of your long hair and the fact that you often say "dude" they suspect you of being a drug user. They ask to search your house and you, having nothing to hide but not welcoming the intrusion or su****ion refuse. No one in their right mind would consider that evidence of guilt. This situation is quite similar. Now that Pacquiao has made that stand, he is unlikely to back down on it. Any one of us would do probably do the same thing. Pacquiao's obviously realized this and he obviously wants the fight for a variety of reasons. So he's compromised on this, hoping that the other side reciprocates. The pride thing for both of these guys is a huge factor in these negotiations. If either man thinks that the world thinks he's getting the short end of the stick, he'll refuse. That's why many of the folks involved are trying not to talk about the negotiations...
At any rate, I really just wish they'd set this fight up and get it on already.
