It doesn't matter who's more popular, or who actually has fans paying to see them win and who has haters paying to see them lose. When you look at the numbers, Mayweather is destroying Pac in revenue generated and from a business standpoint, that can't be ignored just for the sake of making a boxing match happen. Plus you have to remember, Mayweather made $40+ to fight Mosley. I believe an event with he and Williams or Martinez would do just as well as Mayweather-Mosley. Money can get 65%-75% of the purse against either and would likely make more than he would doing a 50/50 deal with Pac. Pac hasn't shown he can generate the type of payday that he would get with Mayweather with other dance partners.
Pac will be alright without Floyd and still be rich. So will Floyd.

Question, are you boxing fan first and a Floyd fan second or the other way around?

What do you get out of Floyd getting more money?

Sidenote: I tell you what, If floyd offers me Free, Ringside tickets to his fight against whoever is up next, I will defend his interests to no end and argue for him getting more money. Until that happens, for my 50 bucks PPV, I could care less and 50/50 sounds fair to me and the only way this fight goes down.

How does it look on Floyd? How does it look on Manny that 14 days wasnt ok when they were negotiating but it is now that they're not? And did Shane and Floyd know about this cutoff? Finally, does the USADA use the same protocol every time?

So Floyd takes the 14days off the table now that Pac has agreed too but it aint there anymore and his fight with Shane was 18days..
See above. Manny wants to know ahead of time. Why?

I don't care one way or the other. I'm just leaving my personal emotional outta the situation and understanding that this is a business deal. And any business deal I'm persoanlly involved in, I want to be treated fairly and I don't care what those on the outside think. So I perfectly understand Mayweather wanting to be compensated fairly for his market value.

Hmmm, it just doesnt seem like Floyd wants the fight cause he did throw in the first curve ball with the drug test to begin with..

exactly. if 18 days was enough for mosley/floyd, then 14 days is going above and beyond.

I repeat, they're the only two active PPV fighters on the HBO roster. Nobody else fights on PPV actively yet alone generate anything from 900K to a Million.

Floyd can get the lions share against any other fighter out there, always. So can Pac, against any other fighter. But the only way, either of them get a career high payday is against each other. So compromising and agreeing to 50/50 is reasonable and practical. Keeping on arguing about getting more money than the other is nothing but petty pride, and with that stance he isn't getting paid ZILCH. So Floyd can go on and fight Martinez and take 60% or even 70% to show his superiority and it still won't be close to what he would be getting with a 50% Vs Pac.

Pac can go on and fight Margarito or Cotto and take 60% or 70% and he won't get **** compared to a 50% vs Pac.

Something people like you who spend their entire time defending Floyd's honour to no end, fail to comprehend.
there is no big picture in what you stated. youa re trying to put lip stick on a pig but its still a pig.

floyd doesnt have to be the "bigger man." he did that and pac walked away.

this has nothing to do with honor, its about what you rightfully have claim to. and floyd rightfully deserves the lions gate share. the fact that pac refused 14 days the last time, means its off the table. but **** it, FLoyd stated that the old terms were off the table when his numbers smashed pacs.

you fail to comprehend everything you wrote means ****.

            you are full of cop-outs

What's the ****ing difference? If Floyd agreed to it back then when he was adamant about his demands, why change it now. What other ****ing reason is he going to use or come up with now? If it's the 50/50 split, he already made that excuse back in March as well, he kept repeating that he's a bigger draw back then, and that hasn't changed either. But he still agreed to a 50/50 split anyway, so why changed that now.

They are still negotiating in the media, there is nothing else to call this other than straight up spin.

Having not heard from Mayweather's side, it looks like Manny's side is not doing what it takes to get the fight done and looks like they are trying not have the fight happean but still end up favorable to them.
Sure they could of accepted the terms in March but both Floyd and Pac wouldnt have made additional millions fighting those other opponents...

Now were back to the drawing board, Pac has agreed to all the old terms which from what people have posted, those terms are gone...

Who is making this fight difficult at this point?

Cro, you know me better than that. And you also know I was calling for this fight when Mayweather was at welter and Pac at 130 because you busted my balls for it. That said, I understand business. I don't care what Mayweather makes. Hell, I wish they would fight for free so I could see the fight for free. But, boxing is a business, and everyone needs to understand that. You can't ask these guys to do something you wouldn't if put in a comparable situation.
