I understand that, and that is my point.

Beating Yuri (in my eye's) did nothing, but get him another strap. To move up in the P4P rankings, he needs a win over one of the two.

To be fair though I think he should be able to get used to that weight and his trainer before he steps upo and fights killers like Paul and Sergio.

Some good fights for Cotto would be:

      Spinks-K9 Winner
      Dzinziruk
      Julio

I don't think he has it in him to ever be able to beat the likes of P Will or Sergio, no matter how many warm up fights he has. He is gunshy on the inside and is prone to being open to right hands.

We're talking about a guy who was destroyed by Margarito and couldn't win a round over Manny Pacquiao. His best wins are a decision over Mosley, Zab Judah, and Paulie Malignaggi.

Aside from Mosley, those are C class fighters. Margarito was a B class fighter and wiped the floor with him, plaster rumor's or not he was dismantled in a way that a contender shouldn't be dismantled.

Take an honest look at last nights fight and watch the mistakes that Cotto made against a guy like Yuri Foreman (C class). He made big improvements to his footwork and jab, but the defense wasn't there, and neither was the volume of punches necessary to be a contender facing Class A or B opposition.

I have to say at this point Cotto looks to be a high C class fighter, and even at his best Cotto was a B rated fighter.

On fight night I changed my pick to Cotto by stoppage and low and behold he KO'd him. Twice. lol.

LOL Chill out guys. My ranking isn't based on "ACCOMPLISHMENTS". It's more based on skills and the fighter's boxing ability....
