Does Cotto make it back on your P4P List??

Hes made mine again. He won a fight that he shouldve lost in my opinion. Foreman isnt a world beater but he had the size, speed, style and the fact that hes a natural 154 Pounder in his favor. Foreman was perceived a threat because know one knew how much Cotto had left. On fight night I changed my pick to Cotto by stoppage and low and behold he KO'd him. Twice. lol.

    1. Mayweather

    2. Pacquiao

    3. Williams

    4. Dawson

    5. Martinez

    6. Ward

    7. Calderon

    8. Cotto

    9. Wonjongkam

    10. Montiel

Cant blame him for Foremans injury. Like Cotto said "Thats not my concern the fight goes on".

Besides when Foreman had healthy legs Cotto was still winning the fight. I gave Foreman one round. The 4th. Cotto beat him convincingly before he got hurt and after.

On no doubt but I still think he was losing by a wide margin. The 4th was his best round of the fight and he only landed two good shots. You could tell in the first round that this way too big of a step up in talent for Foreman. Cottos jab was knocking him around.

No. Beating a C class fighter like Yuri doesn't do great things for your resume. I like Cotto a lot but at this point he is not a contender and would get KO'd by Paul Williams and Sergio very easily, and would probably lose to Cintron.

Cotto just doesn't throw enough punches to beat the best the sport has to offer.

              i agree

but i think Foreman's plan, and fitting to his style, was to start slow... and the opposite for Miguel... Cotto fades, so its hard to imagine what it could have been like in 9 and 10 or whatnot had it continued...

yuri showed he wasnt scared to trade, i just think he would have preferred to do it later in the fight WITH his legs working too

Vey impressed with Cotto last night, sort of let down by Yuri (before the injury).

Nope. Cotto still doesn't make my list...He is knocking on the door though. A win over an elite fighter at 154, and he's in.

Elite 154 = Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez, both of which will wipe the floor with Cotto.
