Cotto already said he's not fighting Margacheato.
There is no link, Margarito's license is still on indefinite suspension. He was not allowed to apply for a license for one year (In California) after he got suspended. He can now apply, but he's not going to get one now.

Usually states follow each others backs on suspensions.

Where did you see this news posted?

I read an article that they(TSAC) had a meeting and majority agreed to give him his license back. Arum was going to originally put Margarito on the Pacquiao-Clottey card but decided against it.

Not what happened at all. Read my previous post. Texas said NO LICENSE WITHOUT A HEARING and the word was they were going to deny it regardless, so they ran to mexico.

              Read what happened there.

Until Margarito’s license is fully restored, Arum has decided to add him to the undercard of a May 8 “Latin Fury” production in Aguascalientes, Mexico, against Carson Jones.

“We decided that rather than go to a hearing, which [Texas' Athletic Commission] looked like they were going to require, that we would, when we had more time, go back another day,” said Arum. “We want to put Carson Jones back in. We want to propose that he fight in Aguascalientes against Margarito.”

I'd like to see a Yuri rematch, Yuri deserves it given the circumstances. He didn't really "dominate" Yuri until after the knee injury. Then if he beats Yuri in a rematch I'd like to see the rematch with Margarito and I think Puerto Rico would be a fitting place to hold the fight.

Puerto Rico is U.S. territory so he cant fight here either.I think Cotto will eventually fight him but not anytime soon.I actually believe Cotto wants to fight him to finish his career with an exclamation!I think Cotto will retire in 2011 and Margacheato will be his last fight!

Originally he said that but in the last couple months he has mentioned margarito and/or pac rematch as a option. $$$ Talks and arum would make him a nice offer to fight Marg either way Arum wins.
