From the opening bell, Foreman's legs looked shaky, when he went down, we found out why.
Your knee doesn't just give out like that unless you have been having some pretty serious problems with it. I suspect Yuri's knee was barely serviceable during training, and it effected him.
First thing I noticed was how slow he was on the counters, looked like a rusty fighter who had not been able to spar.
All this **** about Sergio emabarrasing Cotto is a joke. Cotto is a solid technical fighter. Sergio hasn't fought anyone with his kind of skill. I think it would be a great fight.
I don't think Martinez would do well against Cotto. He's a slick boxer, and Cotto seems to outbox folks of that kind with ease (Judah, Mosley, Foreman...). PWill will be too willing to stand close to Cotto, and Cotto would chop that tree down at the ribs. Williams would have nothing left after a few rounds of that.
The best thing about Cotto tonight was his balance and movement. SOOO much better than before. If he gets another fight to work with Steward, he can become dangerous again.
Couldn't agree with you more, I just can't post what you posted cuz then ill have a whole bunch of people quoting me talking about im just saying that cuz im Puerto Rican.
At New York's Yankee Stadium, Miguel Cotto (35-2, 28KOs) stopped previously undefeated Yuri Foreman (28-1, 8KOs) to capture the WBA junior middleweight title. Cotto becomes a three division champion. [Click Here To Read More]
