    AND??
Are we talking about Miguel Cotto or the 2 best P4P fighters, who actually are TOP 30 ATG hands down??

Cotto was fightin a legitimate undefeated champ, big dude with skills and outclassed him,and punished him.Ho yeah,of course,it wasn't Thomas Hearns. So what??

Shot fighters ain't doing that.Shout out to Roy krumping in Australia with ****in Danny Green for a ****in IBO belt.

BY THE BOOK! if the corner throws the towel the ref. cn still decide to continue the fight BUT! at the moment the trainer steps into the ring than the DQ becomes Automatic!!

referees are supposed to be neutral!! and it ws OBVIOUS he liked yuri waaaay more than cotto... he congratulated yuri and not cotto after the fight, dude seriously mercante is either gay and loved yuri OR hes ***ish... or BOTH

I don't think Martinez would do well against Cotto. He's a slick boxer, and Cotto seems to outbox folks of that kind with ease (Judah, Mosley, Foreman...). PWill will be too willing to stand close to Cotto, and Cotto would chop that tree down at the ribs. Williams would have nothing left after a few rounds of that.

The best thing about Cotto tonight was his balance and movement. SOOO much better than before. If he gets another fight to work with Steward, he can become dangerous again.

          Cotto will Resurge!

For all those who thought Cotto was shot, he proved them all wrong! For all those who said it was too late to add Steward to his team [wrong again].
If Bob Arum decides to put Pacquiao in there again with Cotto at 154 (even if they decide to use the catchweight tactics again) the outcome will be very different. In their first fight Cotto looked weight drained; this time around and even with a catchweight it will only benefit Cotto whose ideal weight right now should be around 151; he would not be drained as he looked last time. And with the addition of Stewart in the equation for Cotto I think it would be a hell of a more competitive fight than their previous one. It would not surprise me at all if Cotto beats Pacquiao in a rematch either by k.o. or by a decision. I also believe the improved Cotto beats Marg [provided Marg does not load his gloves again].

Miguel "the jabber"? interesting... Judging on the article, that was a nice fight with numerous exchanges. How was the fight really?

Anyone who thinks Cotto is back based on this fight had better think again. I am one of the folks who never thought Foreman had a chance against Cotto because of his lack of punching power. With only 8 kos under his belt Cotto could, and did just walk through any thing Foreman threw at him to get in his power shots. It was similar to Paul Magli..whatever fighting in his last fight against the guy from Afghanistan, I think. Paul was featherfisted and simply couldn't hurt the guy. Same with Foreman. Another featherfisted fighter. I don't think Cotto will hold on to that belt if he fights Paul Williams, or any of the other heavy handed dudes at 154. Hey, it took him an extra round and a half to finish off a one legged cripple with no punch. And about that fight. I think Arthur Mercante and Foreman's corner did a horrible job. That fight should have been stopped long before that wicked left hook to the body dropped Foreman. Hey, he only had one good leg and no punching power and was getting pummeled. What better reason to stop a fight. This is how fighters get hurt. The ref asked Foreman if he wanted to continue. Of course he's gonna say yes because he's no quitter. Sometimes you just have to make up a fighter's mind for him. Just my opinion folks.

Yuri was winning until he got injured. Good win for Cotto but I give no credit because Yuri wasnt able to continue because of a serious injury.

very one sided really, cotto dominated yuri with jabs, while yuri was hopping around non stop and running all over the ring, than out of nowhere he "slips" and he became leg peg and got dominated some more until cotto threw his signature left hook to the body and dropped yuri, the fight was then stopped.

there was this controversy that the ref. was and IS clearly in favor of foreman, gave him every chance to recuperate and stay in the fight.

Such a shame for Yuri, his movement before the slips sounded like a plan, and he looked competitive in the early half of the fight.

But a win is a win for Cotto, though he got tagged a lotta times with Yuri's straight rights.

On a sidenote, is it just me, or did anyone else saw scumbag Arum's face after the stoppage? Damn it's like he's saying "Now what..." It seemed like he wasn't happy at the outcome and was rooting for Foreman. LOL!
