68 KOs in 74 wins is absolutely insane.

    Thats better than George Foreman.

we know it thanks to Ali and Lyle
both fought both Foreman and Shavers, both said Shavers was a superior puncher

          yes and no

Foreman KO ratio is technically better than Shavers because he has less losses (both losses and wins are counted to determine the KO ratio)

          Foreman KO 84%
          Shavers KO 76%

I just wanted to ask, how did you respond to the false logic that "knn" used regarding the weight range of the heavyweight division in the ali era?

He kept on trying to discredit ALi's wins over bob foster, henry cooper etc..

Do you know where I can find that conversation?

you responded to him yourself in the best possible way I recall

you said one cannot call the fighters weighing under 200 lbs of the Ali era cruiserweights because they were heavyweights following that era rules and standards, and we cannot apply our new standards to the past eras

he's an idiot, don't worry about him

of course you can watch that conversation in the thread I had created (go check your statistics)

I was quite surprised when Ali clocked him with a soft right hand and shavers just backed up in an instant. Was his chin really that weak or was it Ali's power?
