I wouldnt call him the man of steel cause he went down 3 times to PacMan the overated fighter but he did dominate the whole fight from round 3 to 12

ive seen both, ive cast my vote, and IMO morales vs pacquiao was only slightly more entertaining.
I don't know how you could think anything other than Corrales-Castillo

You won't see another fight like that for a long time folks. Non-stop action and power punching for 10 rounds, two elite fighters, and all of the drama in the end that you could ask for.
The greatest fight of all time IMO. Biggest display of heart of all time....bigger than Holy against Bowe times fifty.

It's certainly up there. I have other fights in front of it for sentimental reasons but I can see how anyone would give it that #1 spot on their list.

          Taylor/Chavez I
          Toney/Jirov
          Corrales/Castillo I
          Morales/Barrera I
          Toney/Nunn
          Hagler/Mugabi
          Hagler/Hearns

Taylor/Chavez I was my favorite ever but the rest aren't so clear.

From a pure fight sense....you might be right. Those fights you mentioned.....Like Toney/Jirov, Taylor/Chavez I, Morales/Barrera, Hagler/Hearns....were complete and all out wars. The Toney/Nunn fight rivaled the Castillo/Corrales fight as far as drama was concerned.....Corrales display of heart was ridiculous and so awe inspiring in that fight....that people had to make excuses for him winning. Im a really big JLC fan, but had to admitt he would have been killed if Weeks let it go on.

Ill never forget Goosen saying "You better ****ing get inside on him....now!".

and adding to that list of great performances.....in losing efforts....would HAVE to be:

Emmanuel Augustus in the Floyd fight, and In-Jin Chi in the Morales fight. Those guys fought like they were going to die right afterwards.

Hell yeah that quote was classic. Goossen is so ****ing hilarious.

The only fight that I actually think was clearly better than Castillo/Corrales from that list is Taylor/Chavez I. Reasons being that they were both such incredible fighters with contrasting styles, nobody had ever seen chavez get beaten up like that, and cmon we won't see another KO with 2 seconds left for a long time. It was like the ultimate drama. Castillo/Corrales was up there though.

I remember the first time I saw it I was really stoned and I was just screaming at the TV with my buddy for 10 rounds. Never a dull moment.

Pacquiao-Morales without a doubt. More consistent action and was fought all over the ring. Castillo-Corrales, entertaining? Yes. Fight of the Year? No way in my honest opinion. Not to mention you need to be able to stomach that type of phonebooth fighting in the middle of the ring to fully enjoy it. I'm not much a fan of that though enjoyed the fight none the less.
