Vitali was winning the fight that's why it's so weird. Jeff Lacy tore his rotator cuff in the second round of a fight and finished it. It must have been very painful, but you figure he could grit it out for a little longer.

Boxing fans are ******, they think just because they spend a little cash on a fight that somehow they are entitled to having every fighter in the world fight till they fall down dead or else the fighter is a quitter. It's sad that in every other sport in the world retiring from a match due to injury is not looked at as bad thing. But in boxing fans can see a fighter take a horrendous beating and if he quits on his stool "oh he's a quitter"! It's disgusting and one of my biggest pet peeves about boxing.
