Mosley was coming off a dominating win over the number 1 welterweight. Morales was coming off a loss to an unknown fighter. And he was moving down ro a weight that was a struggle for him. The fact that you use age as a barometer in this shows you don't follow the sport closely. The depths of ******ity people are willing to go to support their favorite fighter is amazing in this thread. It really is.

Morales had around 8 good rounds left in him against Pacquiao the second time, then his legs went. Mosley got shut down by Mayweather after 2 rounds, it remains to be seen if he has anything left at this stage. Morales in the third fight had nothing left at 130.

Don't even need to go by that, just look at the fighter, if he looks slower, or worse or just plain helpless compared to his prime he is shot. Not really a particular formula, just look at the fighter is he as good as he had consistently been, answer? No.
