I love all the ***** talk about Morales being so shot in the 2nd and third Pacquiao fights, but not the first. Meanwhile, the dude was 30, while Shane Mosley is 39 and been in just as many wars as Morales. Not only was Shane Mosley shot, he was weight-drained and over trained.

Actually a lot of us think he was even past it in the first fight and he was. Morales lost because he was weight drained and past his prime. That is what Pacman needed to beat him. Pacman would have got punked at both 122 and 126, he did at 130, would have again at 135 was to weight trained and beat by the time the second fight rolled around.

Age really doesn't mean that much in terms of prime/out of prime.. you got the likes of Lewis, Calzaghe, Bhop etc getting there biggest wins/best performances over the age of 30+. On the other hand taking beatings/being in wars and jumping up and down in weight plays a much larger role.

The likes of Morales/Hatton were done at 29-30 why? because of the damage they took and what kind of fighters they are, also Hatton blowing up in weight certainly didn't help him.

Mosly was nearly 40 years old and lost a hell of a lot of speed and stamina, no question mosley. IMO mosley is like 70 percent of the fighter he once was, moralis was higher

Lewis, Calzaghe, and Bhop had there biggest wins because they never fought ANYBODY until they got older. Even then, the only real good example would be Lewis. Bhop is a fraud and so is Calzaghe.
