Are people on here really that dim? I mean seriously. I dont care if the Klitschko's offered Haye a real slave contract, 40 acres and a mule...it doesnt matter. The all-time ***** david haye, if he thought he had any chance at beating a Klitschko would realize the contract means nothing money wise. If he beat them, which he claims he can, he would be one of the top 5 biggest names in boxing world wide. He could demand huge purses. The U.S. would embrace him becuse he looks and acts like the HW champions we know, England loves him, Germany and Eastern europe would be won over by the fact he toppled their heroes. He would be a legitimate world wide star at HW. Endorsements alone would more than pay for any 10-20% of the contract hes missing out on. Heck, can you imagine if he beat the Klits, and Adamek kept winning. How big would that be in Europe? All the decent contenders right now are a few years away, so I figure it would take Haye at this pace four years to fight 3 Klit matches and an Adamek fight. By then someone will have stepped up. Now if the Klitschko's were demanding a Joe Louis type contract where they got a percentage of future earnings...ok. But what makes Joe Louis an ATG? Because he took that contract because he wanted to be the champ. Haye's whining about 10-20% of one gate, not 20% of all of his future earnings.
Look, I know Haye cant win, you know Haye cant win, Haye knows it, the Klitschko's know it, but its ridiculous to think the Klits should just hand this guy, who has done nothing but win a close decision against a circus freak and a clincher whose last meaningful fight was cheating a totally shot Andrew Golotta out of a win...and who once lost to a LHW. Why does he deserve anything? You know had he gone up and just asked for the fight, talked about being great, I think the Klits might have given him one big pay day. Instead Haye angered him, they dont want to give him millions. He hasnt proven anything at HW other than he still is easy to hit and he has even worse stamina. I dont get it. The Klitschko's are the champs. Why wont Manny Pacquiao give Paulie Malignaggi a shot and 50/50...is he scared. I mean Paulie called him a roider, come on Manny step up, pay Paulie 1/2 the purse so we can get this fight on.......Its the same damn thing.
Klits are the stars, they are the attractions, and they are the champs. Haye is a cruiserweight who beat John Ruiz.......Again, the Klits are willing to fight him, there is millions more to be made if you beat the Klits than 100% of the purse. If you did beat one...and you like money and want to clear out the HW division...uhh..wouldnt the logical choice for your next fight be the other Klitschko? You know the number 1 contender, the guy with other belts, the only other giant name in the division? Oh and the fight that would pay millions and probably get a 24/7 etc... Its dumb. Haye's a coward. People whining about the contract are fools. Jackie Robinson got paid peanuts when he first broke the color barrier...but did he play anyways? hell yeah, because he knew it was important. Hayes just an all time ***** who knows he cant win so is whining about this. The Klits dont want to offer this dude tons of money though just in case Haye determines that the money is worth being punch drunk the rest of his life.Comment

Its bull**** how Byrd and Sanders were forced to fight back to back tough fights, while a Klitschko can choose a tune-up in the interim.
You are not rewarded for beating a Klitschko, you are contractualy put on ice until the other brother gets ready for you. These scumbags might as well be staging 2-on-1 boxing matches....
I applaud Booth and Haye for telling these bastards to buzz off. If they want tag team matches they can go to WWE.Comment

Promoter was Universum Boxpromotion, not the Klitschko-Brothers themselves.

Yeah, he is also bitter as hell that he got whooped by Wlad so bad and lost his title to him TWICE! I just listened to the entire interview and he is bitter, he is even admitting it. In his own words about the first Wlad fight: "Yeah he beat me really bad, I was really upset about it." In his own words about the second Wlad fight: "That fight ruined me man, that fight ruined me as a fighter, I am still kicking myself about it to this day..."
The FACT is that he got his biggest paydays of his entire career against the Klitschkos, also they purchased his contract away from Don King and then gave him money options on THREE of their fights!!! He made money of them even when he did not fight them!!
He is still bitter that Wlad ended his title reign twice, that is the bottom line, so I wouldn't take what he says seriously. Just look at his actions instead...He fought the Klitschkos 3 times and you never heard him complain about this before.
Klitschkos are smart and tough negotiators but they are not straight up thieves like Don King, their opponents wind up having the highest paydays of their careers against them. Do they stack the negotiations in their favor, sure they do, they are smart businessman but their multiple offers to Diva Haye have been more than fair. It's just that Diva is too scared to get in the ring with them and would rather milk that WBA trinket that really should belong to Wlad as long as she can.Comment

Excellent post. All the Diva fans must have selective memories because wasn't it when Diva came on the scene that she screamed about fighting BOTH brothers??? There are plenty of interviews of her talking to that idiot Bunce about how she WANTS to fight both Klitschkos and that is the only way she will become the true HW champ, if she beats them both. Wasn't it Diva who signed the first contract? Wasn't it Diva who said she wasn't doing this for the money but for "the Dempseys, the Marcianos, for boxing..."? Wasn't it Diva who complained about the "slave contract" of 3 option fights and then signed a 3 option fights with Saureland? You can't tell me 3 fights with Klitschkos are worth less money than 3 fights with Valuev, Ruiz, and the Valuev again... If Diva actually beat a Klitschko, she would be in the driver's seat for the remainder of the option fights. Now the Klitschkos are not even asking for 3 options, they want one standard rematch and that's it.
Oh Haye's Gayes now have a new excuse: "His wife is pregnant and he needs rest!" WTF?? Are you all serious? He can't pick up the phone? He is not going to be fighting the Klitschkos tomorrow... Besides, I guess he is not too "tired" to make negotiations with Fraudley, how does that make sense? How can he be too tired to negotiate with a fighter who is favored to beat him but all of a sudden have all the energy in the world to negotiate with the likes of Fraudley?
All of Diva's fans are insane, if Diva was pissing on their face and telling them it was raining, they would believe her... Which is what she is doing basically anyway...Comment
