There comes a time when you have to stand and fight, and PAc won't be able to stand up to Floyd. PAc won't go toe to toe with Floyd, and he can't keep up the in and out angles for the full 12 against the most skilled fighter of the last decade. Pac can't fight flat footed. Morales, JMM and in the Barrera rematch showed fans he can't. I see no way Pac can win unless Floyd lets PAc hit him ala Peden-Campbell.

I think it's more likely that floyd wont go toe to toe. I always though pacquiao was the master of a toe to toe battle.

This will be a mismatch in favor of pac, floyd will be like dela hoya and barrera who are favorite to win in paper but gets pummeled by pac in the ring....

supporters of floyd's ost demand should not be singing a "one-sided fight in favor of floyd" tune...it sounds awful

Yes. I said this since the fight was a possibility. Two different class of fighters.

Roach and others said Floyd would box Shane. Floyd can cover up, fight on the inside and hit Pac, and Pac can't cover up and hit Floyd. I see no way Pac can beat Floyd. Toe to toe or Pac using angles it won't matter. once Pac's fans see the size and speed difference between the two, and how hard it is to hit Floyd more than once-fight over. If PAc thought Morales gave him hell, wait until he fights a bigger, faster Floyd.

                    Yes.
At a certain point, quantity becomes a quality on its own.
If Floyd ajdusts to the Pacattack, and there are few boxers out there
better at in-ring adjustment, without having taken too much damage
form it, then he'll run a clinic on Manny. If he can't adjust quickly, then
Manny will embarrass Floyd. I know that's oversimplifying things, but
this mediium of communication is what it is. (shrug)

It's possible, but Erik succeeded in no small part because Manny doesn't
fight as effectively once you back him up, and Erik had the workrate to
do that. Floyd prefers to potshot, and has lost a step since retiring IMHO.
Manny has lost a lot of (relative) power, but not endurance, nor workrate.

                    h.
LOL, How can say Manny will "embarrass" Floyd? WTF are you smoking?

Yes it would be. Why do think Floyd asked for OSDT. Floyd said he could get killed in the ring.
