Vitali Klitschko vs David Tua: Who Wins?

Tua is too plodding and Vitali is showing his age, takes him a bit of time to get into his rhythm now compared to a few years ago. Vitali by decision, Tua can make it interesting if he can get on the inside and let his hands go though.

Tua would get owned by either Klitschko, in the amatuers, in his prime, now, and when all three are in retirement homes... He was never that skilled of a fighter, evidenced by the fact that he never won a strap...He had a great chin and very good power but that will only take you so far. Even Sam Peter has better skills than Tua.

Not to defend Tua because I don't think he would beat either Klitschko, but come on, Tua does have better skills than Sam Peter, as well as a better chin and probably more power. Tua was unfortunate not to win a title, if he had faced some paper titlist like Ruiz or Briggs I'm sure he would have done it, he only got a title shot and it was against Lennox Lewis.

You misread it just as I though people would. I said "since Lewis" not "better than Lewis". You don't remember critics and general posters saying that about Peter, Gomez, and Arreola? Everyone kept on saying; "Gomez is the most skilled fighter Vitaly will be facing since Lewis...."; "Peter/Arreola are the hardest punchers with the strongest chins Vitaly will face since he faced Lewis...." What happenend after that? "Oh, they were bums anyway..."

thats impossible. the best guy he faced since Lewis is still Corrie Sanders.

...and I seriosuly doubt anyone was saying that when he was fighting Sosnopoli or Kevin Johnson.

I consider Corrie Sanders substantially better than Peter, Arreola, Gomez, and especially Kevin Johnson and Sosnopoly.

maybe people were saying that Gomez was the most skilled fighter he faced since Lewis, but in overall terms? I think pretty much everyone would agree that Corrie Sanders was the best opponent Vitali has faced after the Lewis fight.
hell, hes probably the second best guy Vitali faced in his career, unless you want to say Byrd.

Hang on, The Sauce goes ten rounds, Nips goes eleven, yet Vitali's going to bomb Tua out early??? What the ****ens are you fellows inhaling? Tua's jaw is made out of solid whalebone, and his defence isn't bad at all. Yes, Vit would win a wiiiiddddeeee decision, you don't need a crystal ball to see that, but no way in hell is Tua getting put on his arse in this one.
