A match-up of the (almost) old farts. Vitali would win this by decision. Tua by a lucky punch.

Vitali would win a shutout, but at his age I don't think he would stop Tua right now, unless Tua retired.

OK everyone with more than half a brain knows Vitali would win, but by knockout??? If there's one fighter that could withstand everything Vitali threw at him it's Tua. The only way I can see Tua not goin the full twelve is if his corner or the ref decide to stop the contest because he's taking too much punishment. That's very feasible given how flat footed and hittable Tua is.

I do not understand why people keep talking about this fight. Who wants this fight? I dont get it. Also i dont get people saying Vitali is washed up...he wins every single round. Its been reported that he didnt train more than he would out of camp for Sosnowski and he still dominated a guy who came in in good shape with a desire to win. Sosnowski was like Chuck Wepner, except Sosnowski was better and Vitali merely got hit a couple times and Ali hit the canvas. When Vitali loses a round then maybe we can entertain this washed up notion, but until then he is the baddest man on the planet.

How amazing must Vitali be that his haters think that he is washed up even when he dominates every round. If he is washed up now, man he must have been the best ever.

I like Klitschko as much as the next guy, and Tua as well, but let's get real, he's not knocking out Tua. Vitali UD.

i don't think even prime vitali can put tua on his back. ref would probably step in. that or tua's corner. can't say i like the idea of seeing the tuaman take this beating.

hey bro I state this arguement all the time in Vitali's defence; Vitali is one of the best fighters in the history of the sport at controlling distance. Tua will not get inside and will be picked apart by those long right hands and if he does get inside, Vitali is alot stronger than him and will bully him around. He doesn't look like it, but Vitali is one of the strongest HW's of all time as well. Vitali by 10th round TKO stoppage (no one KO's Tua, but I see a stoppage from Vitali constantly landing flush on him).

So true... Don't forget that before each fight, each one of his opponents is "the best he ever fought since he faced Lewis" and then when Vitaly easily destroys them, they are all of a sudden bums.

thats impossible. the best guy he faced since Lewis is still Corrie Sanders.

...and I seriosuly doubt anyone was saying that when he was fighting Sosnopoli or Kevin Johnson.
