Thinking back at that fight I just don't know, but I'm with you now, I think Money wins it..I'm really torn because of the Castillo fight, I'll always have that in the back of my mind.

Good post bro, I'm surprised no1 else brought these names up. People talkin about Morales and Barrera. Azumah Nelson would have been on Floyd's ass all night. I'm not sure who wins that fight. I think Floyd would handle Chavez quite well for 7-8 rounds then it gets tough, I think he'd pull out a decision though. Floyd v Arguello or Whitaker would have been excellent clashes. Didn't Oscar start at 130 also? That would not have been easy as Oscar was very quick, a big puncher, very dazzling skills. Floyd was a beast at 130 though. He was a lot busier than he is now and always tried to make things happen, such tremendous footwork and he was more offensive too. Just a total handful

considering the trouble Mayweather had with Castillo, I think Chavez would have given him hell at 130lbs.

Hector Camacho, while not known as an ATG there, was unbelievably fast and talented at the weight. Mayweather sort of has problems with quick southpaws, and Camacho was the fastest I think Ive ever seen.

Azumah Nelson was a very good fighter, who gave Pernell quite a tough time...and that was a Pernell that was forced to throw over a thousand punches to keep him off.(unless Im mistaken)

Alexis Arguello, although I think Mayweather had the style to beat him, was certainly no pushover and could change a fight quickly with his pinpoint punching power and body work.

You could technically put Duran against Mayweather at 130lbs since Duran beat a future titleholder at the weight, but imo Duran was far too inexperienced at that point to deal with a prime 130lb Mayweather, so thats not really fair.

whitaker never fought below 134 lbs.

i think floyd lost 4 or 5 rounds in his 26 fights at super featherweight.

He definently could bet anyone in recent times at 130...haven't seen much Willie Pep...I don't think he would be able to beat all of them impressively though...

Arguello, Nelson, and Camacho would all give him very good fights...Chavez probably too but I think Floyd would beat him clearly...

Please, Mayweather was tested at 130 against what HOF'ers? An old Hernandez? Corrales who was arguably drained @ 130. How many other ATG's @ 130 would have blown away those guys?

Mayweather is definatley an ATG at the weight class, however, its pure nuthugging to claim he will destroy anyone ever at that weight class. That's like saying Pac would beat any 126'er for beating MAB and EM, two guys who are probably ranked higher ATG than anyone Floyd fought @ 130/135.
