Chavez didn't duck anybody who was tough even though he had a lot of cans on his resume as stay busy fights. People act like Oscar De La Hoya was this take on all comers warrior when that is such a lie. He fought a lot of top fighters of his era, no doubt. But look at all the guys he has ducked. Prime Forrest, prime Winky, prime Tszyu (even though I think Tszyu is overrated). And even though Oscar deserves less heat for not fighting these guys since they came along later during his older days, he still should get heat for not fighting Margarito and Martinez. Nobody in their right mind gave Pac a chance at upsetting De La Hoya and even though Oscar was an underdog against Chavez in their first fight Chavez had a big size disadvantage unlike Oscar had against Pac.

And I can't for the life of me forgive Oscar for those gay ass shoulder shrugs in his olympic suit.

I am a Chavez fan and do enjoy his style. I have about 62 of his fights on DVD, but i respectfully disagree with people on his undefeated record, i thought both Whitaker and Laporte beat him before Frankie Randall. It don't make me hater for also saying that he that one disqualification that was changed to a win, and the commission that changed it were part of his management. I know it was a boderline DQ as hit the man either at the bell, or a little after the bell.

I will never and I mean never, give Chavez any credit. I can't stand him as a person or as a fighter. I hated when he beat Taylor and it still pisses me off that he could stand in the ring and raise his fist, after the beating he took from Whittaker. He is disrespectful, dirty, and a quitter in the ring. I loved seeing him bleed and getting nailed left and right from De La Hoya. Mexican fans that support him are just nationalistic pricks. There is nothing great about being a punching bag and brawling. This guy had no respect for his opponents even when he got his ass beat and I refuse till my death to ever give this guy any respect. That comment just shows how delusional you are in regards to your love of dlh and hate for chavez. DLH represented the US in the amateurs and never once fought on Mexican soil as a professional. The Mexican public would have always perceived him as an American fighter who happened to be of Mexican descent.
