I think I got too smart for wrestling. As I got to my mid teen years I just relized what I was watching was ******. If you really think about it wrestling is freakin strange. LOL I would never have said this 4 years ago...

I think their should be more outdoor fights, and outdoor workouts (like Cotto did in the Bronx).

A lot of fighters today wont do outside fights. I dont blame them it can add to the exhaustion but most arenas arent very well ventilated either.

It's also pretty hard for a part time boxing fan to get up to speed with what's going on, who the fighters are & what they are actually fighting for.

Wrestling is something you can not watch for a year, and still pretty much slip right back into anytime you want and injoy it.

Take the Gatti/Mayweather for example. I watched it at my place with two friends, my brother & father. All part time fans.
I spent half the show answering goddamn questions.
Who is mayweather? what titles this for? I thought Zoo was the champ? So Why is Gatti Champ, So what was Harris champ of? Super-Lightweight, You said Jnr Welterweight?

They ended up wondering WTF this fight was on PPV. It's just two guys fighting & the title doesn't mean anything.
It's easy for us to know what, means what because we follow it all the time. But for the general population. It takes a real effort to get back up to speed.

Almost every Sport is outside, just so dark most fights are, in arena thats all black, guys in tuxseedos, tickets worth 500 bucks, cmon, fights need sweat, blood, and SUN, with blue collar fans watching, looks too proffessional, wheres the fun? Boxing is only a big event for those who are hardcore fans with money.

More people also watch Oprah than boxing.

I don't really see the point.

            Common folk like ****ty things.

            That doesn't mean anything.

Avoid watching fights with part time fans then.

I agree Boxing needs to be reestablished as a blue collar sport. Don King recognizes this and is finally realizing their is more money than in big cities or casinos. (spinks/Golota)

Boxing doesnt need to $1,200 ringside seats. If you place a good boxing card in an arena with 20k capacity and the lowest ticket price is 25 dollars and the highest is 300 you are bound to make some serious money. More so than placing $50-1,000 tickets in a 10k capacity casino where most of the tickets are giveaways.

Cotto vs Abdullaev was great, tickets were $4.50-300.00 at the GARDEN it doesnt get any better than that.
