If Berto can make the weight without draining himself 140 becomes even more interesting. To the people who say Berto gets no respect for moving down to 140 and beating other JWWs you're ******ed. If he can make the weight he gets respect if he makes them come up maybe not so much although hes not much bigger than some of the top 140lbers.

Been doin alright Rome(my homie like no other)to the K-O. I been chillin in the lounge for the most part, only surfacing to the main page when I see a artical thats not filled with a bunch of mindless and pointless back and forth. Been trying to get my e-points and rep up(tryin to hit that multi-e-millionaire status......closing in on the e-million right now).

You right this fight gives both fighters a good berometer of where they both are in their respective careers at this point and time. For Shane it's the fight that tells him if it's time to truely hang 'um up or if he has enough left to compete with the young lions out there lurking in the shadows at WW. For Berto it kinda legitamizes him at WW. The IBF and WBA belt are he's to take as those belt holders are a walk in the park for Andre. But Andre is looking more so for money than to stake a claim at WW(henceforth the possible move to JWW). If Mosley could upset Andre's apple cart it wouldn't hurt Andre's career as bad as the other way around, and depending on how well he did would actually boost his career. I know alot of people aint gonna agree with me but Paul Williams coming back down WW is really a good move, and Berto would be a great opponent for him. But back to Berto vs. Mosley this fight has a huge chance of happining, as it was signed, sealed, and damn near delivered 6 months ago. Don't be surprised if we hear about this fight going down in the next 6 months.

Let's hope your right Chiefy.I agree with you Pwill vs Berto would be a good fight,I just feel Pwill's big ass needs to stay in JrMW or MW.All that up and down can put wear and tear on your body. How do you see any of those fight's playing out.I see Berto squaring up and getting stopped by Mosley and Pwill.I use to see Pwill beating and maybe stopping Mosley by over taxing Mosley with volume. But Pwill is eager to mix it up and get's hit alot if Mosley is not spent I see him stopping Pwill. How you see it?

I think Paul is safe to go between WW and JMW right now it's only a 7 pound differencehe could use water weight to move back and forth and still be fine. Paul vs. Andre would be really goo, because Berto is more slicker than most people give him credit for, and Paul would give him hell with constant pressure and volume. I see Paul besting Andre, as Paul has one helluva chin(we saw that when he took Kermit's best shot at 154). I hate to say it but Paul vs. Shane would probably be like Vernon vs. Shane 2, with Shane being competetive but not having enough youth in his tanks to keep Paul off of him. I think that Shane is a tougher fight for Paul than Berto though. Paul's chin IMO is better than Margo's plus he has better skills, and a left hand that Shane won't see till it's too late. Now don't get me wrong it is a fight that Shane can win, but Shane has to not look for the right hand bombs and actually use his jab and go to work on the inside for him to beat Paul. Berto mostly squares up as he's trying to cut the ring off, he won't have to cut the ring off against either of these two fighters as they both flourish when they come forward, but Shane can fight going backwards better than Andre can, so thats why I say Shane has a better chance.

Good take I would not mind seeing any of these fights I hope they come off.I would hate to see Berto in with some lame ass fighter(It's time to step up)I want him to try to get that name.I doubt we will see a pwill Martinez an I really wanna see that fight.I don't know about Pwill having a better chin then Marga's(but Pwill does have a rock solid chin)Cintron took a leap out of the ring so we don't know if those right hand shots would have caught up to Pwill.I would not mind seeing a rematch in a steel cage with Pwill and Cintron.I also hope we see Perez vs Mares rematch(I know of base)that was a good fight.

If Andre Berto was a Top Rank fighter, he would have been the 1 in there with Cotto and not Yuri Foreman. Instead, he has 2 go fight another Jr. Welter cuz he has no other options.

When the tough get going..... then you run to a lower weight class!!!!!!! What kind of ****z is this.... let me see if I follow the logic - since all 147lbs (which I was not going to fight...ever!) are going to 154 lbs, that means that I'm going down to 140lbs, to continue what's I've been doing covertly until now... that is, protect my belt by fighting smaller and over the hill fighters!!!!!

                    Stop twitting and start fighting....!
