I don't see why he shouldn't go down and fight at 140. The talent pool is better at 140 and in doing so he could make a bigger name for himself. It would give him a bigger name because he would be considered a top pound for pound fighter.

Berto would have to burn some mass to go down to 140, he would get weight drained. If anything, he will try to pull those guys up to WW.

I think its a bad idea for berto to go to jr welterweight. If he walks around at 160 pounds then going to 140 pounds is going to kill him. Berto, despite being a bit short has a very muscular and slightly stocking frame. If he went down he would look visibly weightdrained and would affect his performance because he is fighter who has a high work rate and relies on stamina,power and speed which would all be reduced. Against fighters like khan and devon he is asking to get knocked out
