****** move, coming from a Berto fan. Those guys will move up in weight soon enough. No use in cutting weight and putting yourself at a disadvantage. He should stay at welter, and try to lure Cotto if he wins, and if Cotto doesn't win, he'll still be top dog at welterweight May and Pac aside, and should just try to unify the belts.

I think that may have been the Collazo fight.

He also looked like a butterball at the first presser for his fight with Mosley....

The dream fight to me would be Berto vs Cotto. As far as styles, it would be a classic.Berto vs Williams or Citron would also be entertaining,as well as a rematch with Collazo. At this stage, it wouldn't be wise to put Mosely in with a young lion like Berto. But it is time for Berto to step up. Fighting 140lb opponents will not bring him any respect.

It could've been that one, maybe the Estrada one. As I said, can't really remember which fight, I just remember that he has been close to 160 before.

I'm pretty sure the guy walks around at about 160 when he's not in training.

He did look like a sausage at a presser with Mosley, whatever he weighed it shouldn't have been whatever huge number it must have been because he looked alot heavier than Shane.

I'd actually like to see him in there with Mosley. Only for Mosley to show people that he's not done and that he just got whooped by one of the best in Floyd. If that fight were to happen I see Mosley taking it. I may be wrong but I don't see Berto weathering the storm if he were to get caught like Floyd. Just my opinion.

All these guys will be at 147 within 2 years, just wait on them... Go try and make a fight with Mosley, Clottey, or Cotto, and then if Mayweather vs Pac happens... fight the winner or loser.

I just checked a screen shot from the fight in the trading block and Berto was 160 on fight night for Collazo if you guys care.

It was gonna bother me if I didn't look.

In some interview, Berto stated he wasn't in the best of shape for that fight. He probably wants to normally target 153/4 or so like the Estrada or Quintana fights.
