Jermaine Taylor fighting at this point is really worse than Roy Jones and Jeff Lacy continuing with their careers even if he has the ability to fight on a higher level than those two. I don't want him to be another Levander Johnson, and that's what we may be headed for unless the commission and the fans do their job and protest him fighting. I've never seen somebody come back from a KO of the type that Taylor suffered and end up not getting hurt again. Look at Courtney Burton, Meldrick Taylor, Terry Norris, and countless other guys. Jermaine Taylor is in that same boat almost.

But with his history of fading late he might get in trouble if he can't get Miranda out of there early.

Jesse Brinkley and Vitaliy Tsypko are also good choices.
Before Pavlik stopped Miranda this was a fight many wanted and Edison was talking a lot of ****. I think their styles would make for an exciting fight and Miranda would help to sell it with his mouth. I dont think at this point of his career Miranda poses enough of a threat to make Taylor avoid him.

I like Taylor, but DAMN didn't he make enough money?

Does he want brain damage or something? He should retire and enjoy his riches.

Brain Hemorrhage. He is finished. Never allowed to fight again.

I think after the long break he can comeback and compete at a high level. He was doing well against Froch and Abraham before getting bombed out, it happens. He isn't shot imo, but he should take a few tune-ups.

I agree, if given proper time to gain his confidence back against the right type of opponents I think Taylor could be relevant again.

However, the way boxing works I don't think he will get the chance to take it slow.

I worry about Pavlik and Taylor returning to the ring because I think HBO would put incredible pressure on their handlers and promoters to feed them to Lucian Bute before they have time to get their confidence back.

                    Go Jermaine!

I hope he gets away from the sport without getting too hurt. He is too good of a guy to have ill effects on his brain.

I always thought he had a future in sportscasting. He speaks great and really knows boxing.

If Jermain would have stayed w/ Burns, he'd still be relevant as we speak.
