You are incapable of comprehending people.

"He's a great fighter because he made some journalists chose, based on hype and conjecture. I can't prove my point that he was a great fighter because of who he beat, so I'll refer to a nonsensical list to do it for me."

When you people refer to these pound for pound lists and can't articulate on why someone was a great fighter, it really shows your lack of knowledge on the matter.

I'm out. You can't debate with people who are incapable of debating.

    Adios.
The P4P lists matter yes or no?

    LMFAO

Bro you don't know **** about boxing. If you did, why don't you contribute with some type of boxing knowledge instead of your usual d1ckriding responses?

How do you know that? Have you asked all the boxers, or are you just presuming?

        • Arturo Gatti best wins were

          Tracy harris Patterson 2x
          Gabriel Ruelas
          Joey Gamache
          Terron Millet
          Micky Ward 2x
          Jesse James Leija
          Leonard Dorin

Tell me how this constitutes as Hall of fame material?

              Mike.

Gatti transcended the sport man. The blood and guts warrior? The guy who had epic fight night in and night out. He has a last name that will never be forgotten in Boxing and you ask how is he a hall of famer?

Most of those fight he got his ass quicked and just being an exciting fighter shoudn't get you in the hall of fame. Honestly how would you feel if the NBA put Jason (white player from the kings) in the NBA hall of fame just because he was an exciting player? How about we put and 1 players in because they play an exciting style of basketball as well. Boxing's HOF should be about wins and accomplishments, not all the other dumb stuff. It's not, which is why it's a joke and why I wouldn't be suprised if Gatti got in.

Should he if Boxing had standards that are on par with other sports..............hell ****in no!!!!!!!!!

Why open the flood gates and make having the term "HOF status" next to a boxers name less meaningful? But good job in ducking my question coward.
                  youre a joke, truly

                  • And how did he transcend the sport? just curious because guys like Lamotta and others were just as exciting, if not more than him. Lamotta, however, beat other great fighters, so I can see a case for him.

Then you would have to do spring cleaning in the HOF and get rid of alot of guys in the hall.

However with that said Boxing HOF is different. its an individual sport so each fighter is looked at on a case by case basis.

                      Resume
                      Prestige
                      Skills
                      Longetivity

**** like that. The Boxing HOF has more variable to it then just who has the best resume.

                      Think about that last name.

Gatti. I only think of two people Legendary Mob Boss and the boxer.
