People like you won't be satisfied until Floyd jumps in the ring with the Klisco brothers or something. Mayweather beat Corrales when the latter was great and in his prime, He wasnt worn out or war torn, he wasnt caught at the tail end of his career etc and Mayweather wasnt even in his prime years at that point..

I see what you are saying and in reality, Castillo, Corrales and Gatti are not hall of fame fighters. Will they get it? I hope not, but considering boxing hall of fame is a joke, I wouldn't be surprised.

oscar & marquez are no brainers. no need to mention them.

genaro has been retired since 98. his last fight? floyd mayweather jr. hmmm.

its been 12 years since he retired. He is not in the HOF. Castillo will not get in. plain & simple. i bet my nsb account that will never happen.

Gatti doesnt have the resume or the skill level & rightfully should not get in, but considering he was such a fan favorite & the tragic way he died, he could get in due to sympathy instead of boxing achievements. Same thing with diego & the way he died & was a fan favorite. both are very borderline.

but just judging from pure boxing achievement & skill level. they wont get in.
